"After a hurricane in July, our 5000 square foot 20 year old roof was in bad shape on the back side. We reached out to Steve (owner @ Nansemond) and he informed us the roof was built as a 30 year roof and the damage incurred was not normal wear. Because of this, we filed a claim with progressive ASI insurance. Initially the insurance company wanted to replace 2 slopes and was willing to pay about 4500$ in damages. After Natalie sent in paperwork and after a little patience, the insurance company decided to replace the entire roof at a cost not including deductible of about 19k. Steve promptly gave us options and got his guys out here to replace our roof. The insurance company only wanted to put roll-on material on the back flat roof over the huge porch but due to the fact he did not want to put in a subpar product that would fail, they upgraded it to TPO product which is top of the line in this application. In total with rotting boards and deductible we now have a 25k roof upgrade and we are out a total of 2,000$. Steve was reachable throughout the process and answered his phone any time I called, which speaks volumes to the care he puts into his company. Anybody who mentions their roof near me will hear about my positive experience with this company, I wish more people cared as much about their customers as Steve."

"I highly recommend W.T Anderson for any roofing need for the follow reason. The five member roofing crew arrived early Monday morning and began to go to work. The on-sight supervisor introduced herself and provided me with her phone in case I had questions or concerns. Every team member was assigned a task and worked efficiently with little wasted effort. The team remained focus on the job at hand even when the sight supervisor was not present (which was not often or long). The company’s owner made sure to visit the sight throughout the day. His enthusiasm and positivity for the job was mirrored by all at the job sight. The job consisted of removal of 2 layers of shingles, remove and re-install 3 Solar Tubes, replace 3 vent covers (2 bathroom and 1 kitchen), installed 3 Easy Sleeve pipe flashing (a product I recommend, made by a local Virginia company), replacing of 11 sheets of roof sheathing (a lot of water damage during the 30+ years since the first layer was installed, not surprised), installed Weather Watch leak barrier along eaves, rakes, around chimney and all roof penetrations, install underlayment and finally the shingles. I was expecting the job to take 2 days (especially after the water damage was found). However, the job was done in one day and the dumpster was picked up the next day. I cannot express how impressed I am with the thoroughness with which the clean-up was done. I climbed on the roof and inspected the work I was quite pleased with the overall job. I did find one discrepancy (one of the Easy Sleeves was installed incorrectly). Once the company was informed the owner can out the next day to see for himself. He tried to fix it right then and there, but was unable to. The next day the crew was out to remove and replace (with new material) the Easy Sleeve. I am absolutely happy that I chose W.T Anderson for my roofing project. Although their quote was not the lowest, the combination of good reviews and the positive impression I had after the owner’s visit to formulate a bid was central in the selection (I had four roofing quotes). They were very responsive during the whole process (bid, work and follow up) and I would highly recommend them."

"An excellent job, start to finish. Of 3 bids, Jayhawk was in the middle and the research I did on the GAF roof system, and what Jayhawk proposed was the deciding factor. A four man crew stripped the old roof to the sheeting and installed the GAF system, just as my research indicated it should be done. All landscaping was covered during demo, all trash hauled away and a thorough sweep for debris and nails made it a turn-key job. My home is a one story, four bedroom, "L" shaped, with a sunroom, and the job was done in ONE day, I was impressed. The nice touch was all roof pipes, vents were painted a matching color."

"We hired United Exteriors, LLC for a small roofing job replacing roof fans, Bill Johnson came by to survey work I needed, and made several recommendations about our roof that needed to be addressed. He offered us a reasonable quote to install a cricket , fix some flashing, as well as the roof fans I needed replaced. He was able to do the job within a week, which took about, 1/2 a day to complete. He was also able to match the color of our existing roof shingles. The finished job looks awesome. Overall, I was impressed, especially after calling other companies that would not take the job or stated that I would have had to buy their fans to do the work. I would highly recommend them and use them again if needed."
