"Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable. He kept me informed of the progress and my roof looked brand new by the end of the job and he even trimmed the branches back that were touching the roof which was the deciding factor for me. I would highly reccomend!"

"Choosing Morgan Conley roofing to replace our roof was the best decision we've made for our home. The GAF shingles they chose are the best I've seen. We had several companies come by but no one else treated me like a person instead of a female who had no sense at all. Morgan is respectful, knowledgeable, and his team is outstanding. Up front with all the costs involved, sent me a copy of our contract to go over throughly before we decided to sign. He never called and pressured us into rushing into our decision. Once we made our choice our roof was replaced swiftly. I was amazed and extremely happy with how efficient and careful they worked on our roof. If your looking for a replacement roof call Morgan first to save alot of time and headaches. By far the best roofers I've seen in the San Mateo area since we moved in."

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"
All of the doors and windows were replaced by National HomeCraft.

FAQs for roofing projects in Jacksonville, FL

Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.

To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.

While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.

When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
