"My new roof was completed on Monday, June 19. Not only was Estate Exteriors the best estimate of choice, but their work was exceptional! My neighbor commented on how precise they were in measuring and replacing a few wood roof panels as needed. They were extremely careful with clean-up. "Initially, I thought it was fine. However, I was very curious why the contractor would not let me talk to the insurance adjuster. He told me to stay in the house and leave everything to him. (RED FLAG) I'm not sure why I let that happen. After the negotiations and the contract was signed, the contractor advised that he failed to charge me for the cost of the chimney. We specifically talked about the chimney cost and how he wasn't putting it in the contract so it wouldn't alert the insurance company (RED FLAG ) He would just charge me another $1200 for the chimney or not do the inside work. At that point, I should have cancelled the contract. The contractor yelled at me that he forgot and he made a mistake. Yelled at me in a very loud voice. He then did that "used car" sales pitch where he has to go talk to his boss and then comes back and sends me an email that they will fix the chimney for free. I spent about twice what my budget was, and I really am mad at myself for failing to get other estimates. That is on me. The roofers put a new roof on - my old roof was less than 5 years old - not sure if a simple repair would have been okay and left a mess in my yard. There was debris from my gutters and little blue things that they use when they replace a roof. I told the contractor that, and he said "the roofers don't make money if they clean up after the gutters and feel it's not their job". Okay, whose job is it? Who did I pay to do a job? Am i supposed to hire someone else to finish up what the roofers left behind. My pet peeve is when I pay someone to do a job, and they don't finish the job and say it's not their job. That makes me so angry. Again, I'm so mad at myself. I know better. I just felt like at the end of the day I was taken advantage of. I don't think I needed a whole new roof, I spent twice the money I had budgeted, and I had a mess to take care of. I use Angie's List so I can avoid being taken advantage of and considered the "old lady" who doesn't know anything."

"I recently found out that I had storm damage to my roof. I contacted my insurance company and the adjuster came out and verified the damage, providing me with what I needed to get the roof repaired. After checking around, I contracted with Titan Construction to replace the roof on my home. This company is great to work with. Start to finish was 5 stars! They were extremely professional in every way. First the owner of the company, Leszek Gurgul, came out to review what the insurance company said needed to be done. He explained in detail what they were going to do and how the job would be done. I had a number of questions which were answered clearly and succinctly. I was given a start date for the roof replacement and on that day the crew arrived on time. There were five guys sent to do the roof replacement. The guy in charge was very professional. He once again told me what they were going to do and started working promptly. They worked throughout the day taking care not to cause any damage to the area below my roof. Tarps were put down to protect flowers, shrubs and to catch the debris of the old roof. They worked tirelessly until the job was completed. When they were done, it was like they weren't ever there. My house looked great with the new roof. No garbage was left lying about. They cleaned up everything. Clearly, I would recommend Titan Construction as a quality company. I'll be recommending Titan to my friends and neighbors as a reputable company to do business with."

"Very happy with the outcome. We were dreading this job as we have extensive plantings around the entire perimeter of our home. A tear-off and roof replacement is by definition a very messy job. The crew did a great job protecting and respecting our numerous plantings -- thus we had minimal damage. They spent significant extra effort to haul all the debris across the roof to small landing spot in front. Not the cheapest bid but we are happy we went with this boutique roofing -- quality materials and crew"
