"Burke Roofing was good about answering their phone and coming out quickly to provide an estimate of work. Several other companies were not available in as timely a manner or would not even answer their phones. I was in the process of selling the house, so the quick repair was required to close the sale. Jerry quoted $575 for some minor roof repairs (reposition a couple of concrete tiles that had slid down, glue cracks, and replace a corner piece), matching 2 other roofing companies quotes. He also planned to reseal and paint exposed flashing and complex intersections. None of the companies actually climbed up on the roof, nor used a drone to survey the roof. The 3-man crew came out within a couple of days, earlier than scheduled. The foreman, Julio, told me his crew would be on the roof 60 to 90 minutes but only worked for a total of about 20 minutes. Julio provided several digital photos of the repairs which satisfied the home buyer request for repair. The other 2 quotes from Falcon Roofing and Scott Roofing, were also in the $575 range. Local rates for minor repairs/adjustments on a 15+-year-old concrete tile roof will cost you $500-600."
