"It has been our pleasure to have Tillman Carpentry complete our privacy fence project! Zachery helped us work within our budget, providing a very fair quote. Their great, hard-working crew did a top notch job, completing our 80' fence in one day. We are very pleased with the end result and highly recommend Tillman Carpentry!"

"John answered on the first call and came by the same day to see the work and give me a price. 2 days later he had his crew there on time and ready to work. They went above and beyond and made sure to not only remove everything from the home but also haul everything away so I wouldn't be stuck with all the garbage. I would hire them again and will be referring them to people."

"Abraham Home Improvement just installed a 12 x 12 deck for us. The 3 gentlemen were very friendly with both me and my pup. They were on time and worked a full day. They cleaned up any and all material, they also moved any extra material into my shed. They were reasonably price, and I am considering using them again. I have posted pictures on Facebook for all of my friends to see and I have a couple of people ask for their number. I would most definitely recommend them."

"We previously had our sidewalks replaced years ago and the work was sub par. When our front porches began to deteriorate, we contacted Sammson Concrete for an estimate along with a few other concrete contractors. After contacting Steve, he was out within two days to provide us with an estimate. The other contractors we contacted neither showed up or provided us with uncompetitive estimates with lengthy start dates. When we contacted Sammson to award the job, we totally expected to be put on an extended waiting list. Despite our expectations, Steve said they could get to the job within a few weeks and actually gave us a date that they would be there and informed us how long it would take to complete the job. Steve called us the day before the start date and said it might be the next day before they could start work due to inclement weather. Though we also watched the weather, it was good to hear from them regarding the possible delay. Sammson, as promised, was there the following day with their crew. After tearing out the porches, they discovered rotten wood which needed to be replaced. Sammson took pictures, explained the same to my wife, and sent me text pictures of the rotten wood. After reviewing the pictures, they called to re-explain the needed repairs as I was at work at the time. After the wood was replaced, they first poured the two patios with colored concrete and pattern the same, Wonderful! Next came the pour day for the sidewalks on one of our most hot and humid days in early July. Despite a day that many might have found an excuse not to show up, the sidewalks were poured with a brushed finish. Even after the job was completed and paid for, Sammson followed up the work to make sure we were completely happy with the job. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work and we recommend Sammson Concrete to others who may need concrete work."

"Beyond the 4 Walls Construction tore down my old shed and built a new one in its place. Courtney, the owner, did a great job in a timely manner. He gave me more storage space by building the shed taller and installing more shelves. After building the new shed, they did a fantastic job in remodeling my garage. The garage was completely insulated, drywalled, a new ceiling remodeled, windows reframed and the garage was completely painted. At the end of each the day, everything was cleaned up and when the projects were completed, all debris was removed. Courtney is courteous, professional and dependable. I am very happy with my garage and shed, and would recommend Beyond the 4 Walls to anyone looking to have some remodeling, painting, building or any related work done. E. Johnson"

A treehouse stresses the tree, but proper design keeps that impact manageable. Start with a healthy species, use tree-attachment bolts instead of lag screws, and allow room for future growth. A qualified treehouse builder or arborist can assess load capacity, ensure safe fastening, and monitor the tree’s health after construction.
The time it takes to build a treehouse depends on its size and complexity, and whether you choose a prefab kit or a custom design. A straightforward child's prefab treehouse can be assembled in as little as two days to a week. More complex designs can take two to six weeks. Adding features like plumbing and electricity can add several days to the project timeline. Building a fully livable treehouse can take anywhere from several months to a year.
The best trees for constructing a treehouse are strong and healthy with a minimum diameter of 12 inches. Ideal choices include maple, oak, hemlock, and fir trees. If suitable trees aren't available, you can install additional support posts to reinforce the structure. Consulting with an arborist or local treehouse builder ensures your site is evaluated correctly and your treehouse is securely anchored.
A well-constructed treehouse can last anywhere from 10 to 25 years or more. The lifespan depends on the quality of the materials used and the extent to which they are maintained. Applying weatherproof treatments to the wood can help extend its lifespan. Keep in mind that treehouses in areas with harsh weather conditions may wear faster than those in milder climates.
Building a treehouse for year‑round living is entirely possible when you address both the technical challenges and the lifestyle benefits head‑on. This project requires a secure design that incorporates superior insulation, integrated plumbing, and robust electrical systems, while also creating a sustainable, minimalist, and eco-friendly retreat. To ensure comfort and safety, invest in enhanced structural supports and adhere to strict code-compliance measures. Professional consultation is essential to transform your treehouse into a secure, full-time living space that incorporates off-the-grid and environmentally conscious design.
Plumbing installation in a treehouse is challenging because it requires unique, engineered solutions for an off‑ground structure. This project requires custom-designed water distribution systems, reinforced connections, and specialized adjustments that exceed the standard requirements for home plumbing. In addition, implementing innovative solutions such as composting toilets, rainwater collection systems, and graywater sinks ensures safe operation, efficient drainage, and sustainable water usage. These measures, when combined with rigorous adherence to building codes, guarantee that your treehouse’s plumbing system operates securely and efficiently.
