Customers say: Super punctual

"We have hired Jack before and decided to call him again when we needed to remodel. He is licensed, bonded and insured and does not use day layborers. He has a small group of employees that help him when needed. Very friendly and detail oriented people. Everything is cleaned up after the work is done. He sections off his work space so dust, debree, etc... doesn’t go into the rest of the house. Great guy to work with!"

"Initially all was well. They showed up on time. The installers did not read the directions nor test the tub before they installed it. I had ordered a special drain kit that the manufacturer suggested for this tub but they didn't use it. When I came home and saw the drain kit I ordered sitting there and the tub installed I didn't know what to think. They were not responsive about why it wasn't used, I had to call several times. Also, the tub was NOT working after they left. I was told it was plugged in and working but it wasn't. Fortunately a neighbor came over and after some investigation we discovered the outlet for the whirlpool tub plugs was not "hot" nor was the tub plugged in. They had said it was working when clearly it was not. The communication was very poor. I also asked for an estimate to fix an outdoor faucet and never received it."

"Since I now need to use a wheelchair, several doorways in my home needed to be widened. Two exterior doors had to be replaced, one of which also had to be changed to open out rather than opening in. I hired Johnson Custom Builders and was absolutely delighted with their work. They were always professional. They laid or hung plastic sheeting to contain the dust they created, then at the end of the day they ran the vacuum and even mopped the floor! They were respectful of me and my home. Their work was excellent. One of the things I most appreciated was Ryan Johnson's communication with me before, during, and at the conclusion of the project. He listened to what I needed and then figured out how to make it happen. I recommend Johnson Custom Builders highly!"

"We hired RT Total Lawn Care (don’t be fooled by their name, they do much more than lawns) to build a free-standing cedar deck and steps from our RV. They offered a free estimate and arrived soon after we contacted them. There was excellent communication about what we needed, their design suggestions and the price. Within a week of having met, the finished product is a beautifully designed deck that is strong and impeccably constructed. Rafael, the owner, Roberto, our primary builder, and the rest of the crew were consistently professional and friendly. Great work ethic. They are a first-rate company that we will hire again for upcoming projects. John and Linda N Mount Vernon WA"

"Ray and team at L&L Construction did a fabulous job on our kitchen remodel. At the start, Ray worked with us to help re-design and visualize our new kitchen by providing style ideas, layout recommendations, navigating design trade-offs, cabinet options, and 3D renderings. After we settled on a design/layout, Ray ordered the new materials and then oversaw the delivery of materials to our home, including performing an inventory check to ensure that we received everything that had been ordered. With any project taking place in the home, it's extremely important to have a team that you can trust around your family and in your personal spaces. This is where L&L Construction really excelled. Ray and his team are a highly personable and friendly group of professionals. They are easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and are very transparent with their craft and approach. Additionally, they did an excellent job prepping and zoning off the work space to ensure minimal disruption to our day-to-day routine, and were also really good about keeping the work-space clean and tidy (e.g. no dust outside of the workzone!). L&L Construction finished our kitchen with a high-degree of quality and craftsmanship and importantly, they finished the project on time and on budget. We are extremely pleased with our end product and have enjoyed showing off our new kitchen to our friends and family. We highly recommend Ray and the team at L&L Construction for your kitchen remodel project."

FAQs for shed and enclosure service projects in Hobart, WA

A treehouse stresses the tree, but proper design keeps that impact manageable. Start with a healthy species, use tree-attachment bolts instead of lag screws, and allow room for future growth. A qualified treehouse builder or arborist can assess load capacity, ensure safe fastening, and monitor the tree’s health after construction.

The time it takes to build a treehouse depends on its size and complexity, and whether you choose a prefab kit or a custom design. A straightforward child's prefab treehouse can be assembled in as little as two days to a week. More complex designs can take two to six weeks. Adding features like plumbing and electricity can add several days to the project timeline. Building a fully livable treehouse can take anywhere from several months to a year.

The best trees for constructing a treehouse are strong and healthy with a minimum diameter of 12 inches. Ideal choices include maple, oak, hemlock, and fir trees. If suitable trees aren't available, you can install additional support posts to reinforce the structure. Consulting with an arborist or local treehouse builder ensures your site is evaluated correctly and your treehouse is securely anchored.

A well-constructed treehouse can last anywhere from 10 to 25 years or more. The lifespan depends on the quality of the materials used and the extent to which they are maintained. Applying weatherproof treatments to the wood can help extend its lifespan. Keep in mind that treehouses in areas with harsh weather conditions may wear faster than those in milder climates.

Building a treehouse for year‑round living is entirely possible when you address both the technical challenges and the lifestyle benefits head‑on. This project requires a secure design that incorporates superior insulation, integrated plumbing, and robust electrical systems, while also creating a sustainable, minimalist, and eco-friendly retreat. To ensure comfort and safety, invest in enhanced structural supports and adhere to strict code-compliance measures. Professional consultation is essential to transform your treehouse into a secure, full-time living space that incorporates off-the-grid and environmentally conscious design.

Plumbing installation in a treehouse is challenging because it requires unique, engineered solutions for an off‑ground structure. This project requires custom-designed water distribution systems, reinforced connections, and specialized adjustments that exceed the standard requirements for home plumbing. In addition, implementing innovative solutions such as composting toilets, rainwater collection systems, and graywater sinks ensures safe operation, efficient drainage, and sustainable water usage. These measures, when combined with rigorous adherence to building codes, guarantee that your treehouse’s plumbing system operates securely and efficiently.
