"CHW was very responsive to my claim (swimming pool circulation pump failed). However, CHW was unable to find a local service provider. After 10 days, my pool was experiencing an algae bloom and I needed to do something quickly. I found a service provider who fixed the pump (bad capacitor) for $50...just a few dollars more than the $45 that would have been out of pocket for a CHW agent to fix the pump."

"I hired this contractor through Thumbtack specifically to repair a pool leak. He told me the leak was inside the pool, even though another licensed pool company had already confirmed the issue was at the pump and outside the pool. I relied on his assessment and agreed to an $8,000 repair and pebble upgrade with the understanding the pool would be repaired.
