"We had let our pool go, lots of leaves and debris in the pool. John was great! Came out the following day, performed all that was asked and then some. Trouble shooted our filter, made recommendations for future maintenance. I would definitely recommend them to perform all your pool service needs. Jason-Mokena"

"Great landscape company!! Todd & Ross are a pleasure to deal with. They are professional, timely, listen to what your needs are, do great work, and back up their product or service. Honesty is a big factor for me and I trust them to do all my landscaping needs. I have a new house and they put all new landscaping beds in with plants, mulch (best quality I've seen), and retaining walls. I have had them come back and do other projects such as putting in rock around my pool and installed an awesome natural gas fire pit. They also put landscaping lights shining on the front of my house. I did have a problem with the lights and they came out right away and fixed the problem. Honesty, Trustworthiness, Great Work, Quality Products, Professional.......what more can you ask for?"

"We had a very difficult project -- the existing concrete and fence had to replaced, along with the pool's concrete bottom, vinyl liner, and some of the plumbing. Midwest Aquatics was the only contractor of 4 or 5 who examined the job, that would do all of the work (concrete & pool work). The quality of workmanship was good, as long as my wife or I was staying on top of the work being done -- however, when we weren't able to watch over the details, MWA's project management and communications were poor. There were several cases where re-work had to be done, 2 serious issues that we're still stuck with, and contention over $$$ owed."

Running a pool pump continuously significantly increases your monthly electricity expenses. With a single-speed pump, you might see costs toward the upper end of the average range, potentially reaching $150 per month depending on your pump's horsepower and local electricity rates.
Variable-speed pumps would be more economical even with continuous operation, but would still increase costs above normal. However, 24/7 operation is rarely necessary for residential pools, as most require only eight to 12 hours of daily filtration.
Yes, LED pool lights provide substantial energy savings compared to traditional halogen fixtures. Industry data indicates LED lights are five times less expensive to operate than halogen alternatives, while providing equivalent or better illumination. Though LED fixtures often have a higher initial purchase price, the energy savings and longer lifespan make them a cost-effective choice for pool owners who enjoy nighttime swimming.
