Customers say: Quality work
"I was really struggling with my pool having multiple issues and the water never looking clear. Shawn was able to diagnose and repair all the issues at a very reasonable price, and the pool has never looked better! I shopped around before settling on Poseidon Pools, and I couldnâ t be happier that I did. I would highly recommend them for anyone with swimming pool needs!"

"These guys are awesome! Not only does Shay take the time to clean and maintain your pool, but he teaches you as he doing it. He had my pool crystal clear from looking like a swamp in about three days. I will call them for all my future pool needs. I highly recommend Better Choice for whomever needs help with their pool!"

"I would have liked to have rated them higher but since the concrete arrived several hours late (not their fault, but Walker Concretes), the resulting finishing job seemed rushed. I ended up with a LOT of flaking on the top surface (Eppersons fault). It got late in the afternoon and into the evening so the surface was too wet when they stopped the finishing work, so my driveway surface was peeling and flaking off in big patches a couple of days later. It is still doing it months later. They also did not come back when they said they would remove the forms. I ended up taking the forms off myself, but they did eventually come back to pick them up. I had a larger job that I spoke to them about, but since it is a floor for a steel building I am not confident it would be done to the level of quality that is needed. They are probably okay for driveways or sidewalks, but I would not want a garage floor that peels and flakes, or that would possibly have even worse problems. Overall, the price was competitive, but I expected better results. I am sure with their experience they are capable of better work but my driveway project ended up with sub-standard results."

While it is possible to put a pool on a concrete slab, it’s not recommended. This can damage the liner of your pool and creates a rough floor that’s not pleasant. Professional installers use a sand base to create a level surface and ensure that your pool floor is comfortable.
Sand is a fine material that creates a smooth bottom for your pool. Other materials, such as dirt, could contain rocks that damage your pool liner.
Pool sand is also known as mason sand. The different types include concrete sand, yellow mason and white sand.
