"He was on time, very professional, and helped me trouble shoot issues with the pool pump. He explained everything he did to make sure I understood and would be able to maintain the pool in the future. He demonstrated a pool vacuum which cleaned my pool very quickly. By the time he left the pool looked beautiful!"

"Jake took out a tree, regraded the whole back yard (we have narrow side yards and Jake was the only landscaper we called who said he could get equipment back there without going through the neighbors yard and tearing out part of the fence). He put in a pretty rock border, redesigned a flower bed and put in Zoysia sod that everyone else said was too hard to get. And he even fixed the sprinkler system! He was very professional, prompt, and hard-working. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will call him again when we decide to put in that flagstone patio!!"

While it is possible to put a pool on a concrete slab, it’s not recommended. This can damage the liner of your pool and creates a rough floor that’s not pleasant. Professional installers use a sand base to create a level surface and ensure that your pool floor is comfortable.
Sand is a fine material that creates a smooth bottom for your pool. Other materials, such as dirt, could contain rocks that damage your pool liner.
Pool sand is also known as mason sand. The different types include concrete sand, yellow mason and white sand.
