I did not hire Diane because she was honest enough to tell me that I didn't need vertical blinds and that the rooms were beautiful as is letting in lots of sunlight at a beach home. She could have sold me many verticals and I would have spent lots of $, but instead, she went the way of being honest . For this reason alone, I would not hesitate to recommend This Glass House for any window treatments you may need. Also of note is the selection of different fabrics and materials she had to pick from. They were beautiful and I would have had no problem picking one. "I've never purchased custom blinds before so I didn't quite know what it would cost. My wife and I purchased 15 custom shades (top-down bottom-up) and the total came in around the $4K mark. The sales consultant was very transparent with cost and helped us work through options and explained the outcome. She even gave us general interior design assistance and looked at carpet samples when that contractor arrived! There was an ordering issue for five of our windows. Once identified it didn't take more than a few hours to find a solution. They ended up re-ordering (rush delivery) the correct coverings and even though we technically paid less than we should have the company honored our original quote. It wasn't seamless but their service showed when things went wrong and that's what I'd expect. I'd hire them again."

Im a very knowledgeable (20 years) in any home repairs from plumbing, electrical, light carpentry some hvac. oOther small projects like building furniture, cabinets, curtains, door nobs , door hinges, video cameras, etc. I will travel 40 miles from Buckingham Pa. "The initial meeting to measure and discuss the window treatments went very well.  Chris of ABC Windows and his father have been in the business for at least thirty years first in the Bronx and now in Tuckahoe, NY. 
He was very knowledgeable about the area and the surrounding buildings and the nature of the light that my co-op receives.  I arranged for a visit to his shop where in a matter of a few hours I made my selections.  He guided me to the fabric and shade choices that enabled me to make a decision in one visit.  It was approximately six weeks from the date of my selection to the final installation.  Due to availability of materials there were two installations.  I am very happy with the results and would use them again if and when the need arises.
