"This is a family owned and run business. The do very high quality work at a very competitive price. They will also stand by their work if there are any issues. I had a slight issue with my gutter install which I noticed after the first hard rain, probably a month after the job was complete, and they were out the next day to correct it. "Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."

"It took a month to come out, but he answered all of the questions that we had. His prices were reasonable. He did it nickel and dimes. He was very responsive. When we had a problem he would come out right away or he would send somebody that in authority that work form because he has like a general form and that kind of handle some of the jobs. A lot of crews are foreign born and English is not their first language, but he always made sure that he had one person on the crew that spoke good English and he made sure that we were introduced to each other then we could go to them.  On our roofing, it was $16,750 I guess for the price and then on the windows it was $27,700 and they were the same windows that Simon Brothers had proposed, same brand of windows so we were comparing apples to apples. We got the roofing done probably in October last fall. It was a different crew that did the windows. The windows we finalized everything in October. There was just a lot of little details about how you're going to handle it, how you're going to handle that. But the windows they started in December and I want to say they finished the last bit of it probably in the beginning of February. There was a lot windows, 29. When there were something that we were questioning or that we weren't too happy about that he would come and resolve the issue right away. He was very responsive, very professional and very personable. My husband is so happy with them that we are going to start a garage addition this fall, and he didn't even ask for a price ahead of time or even considered getting another price. He just said, "We'll call Brian and we'll work out with him how we are going to do this". Plus, on the roofing, they were so neat about it. They were very neat and very respectful of the spaces and everything, but the roofing, they did such a neat clean job cleaning it up. I know it was a little hard because it was snowing on the ground that time, that our neighbors across the street said, "We really like them. Who did your roofing? We're going to call them". It was noticeable how they tried to accommodate us in any way that they could. We were very happy with them. We are going to use them in the future."
