"The sales person was very professional when he came out to give us an estimate. We went to the showroom and picked out the product we wanted.  The installation was scheduled for @ one month later to fit in our remodeling schedule. The installers were prompt and courteous. They were there for two days. They advised us on the best way to trim the flooring around our stone fireplace and it turned out perfect.  They were neat and clean.  We were very pleased with the job.  We will definitely use them again in the future!!

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"I have two huge windows that I like to have window treatment. I am a bit concern order online. But the price is reasonable and I gave it a try. Man, it is worth it. The drapes arrived beautifully, more than I expected. It fits perfectly. The customer service was great. Mary, the person I worked with went extra miles to deliver the trims my wife wanted and turned out beautifully. After this, I ordered two more drapes from them. Jason replaced a kitchen faucet.  The old faucet was difficult to remove because of some rust, and contrary to what I first thought, it was not just loose, it had broken off at the handle.  Jason did a good job with this and installed a new faucet without any issues.  He also put back the cover of a bathroom fan that had given me some trouble. 

Jim replaced the water supply line to my dishwasher, which had apparently developed a small leak.  This leak was discovered while a new floor was installed earlier in the week.  I was very concerned to get the issue fixed quickly and correctly.  Jim identified the problem immediately and replaced the necessary parts with his usual expertise, for which I am very grateful.  He also replaced (2) water filter cartridges in my basement. 

I continue to have good experiences with Handyman Matters of Dayton and will use them again.
