"Christina is a delightful, reliable, creative professional. Her #1 gift is her ability to collaborate with a client to plan what the client envisions. She listens carefully and offers her ideas in a diplomatic and respectful manner. While she herself has exquisite taste, she does not force her ideas on her client, but seeks to create what the client has in mind.
Beyond this first important attribute, Christina is an extremely talented seamstress with a good eye for color and style. Each of the pieces she crafted for me reflects her attention to detail and her superb craftsmanship. She is truly a perfectionist with regard to her work. Further, Christina is committed to staying within the client's budget. She met me numerous time at a local fabric store, and we worked together to find the right fabric at the right price. I also believe that her charges are reasonable and fair. Finally, I truly appreciated the ownership and responsibility that Christa assumed for the projects. She communicated with fabric store, procured fabrics, and did not bother me with unnecessary issues. She did, however, maintain ongoing and clear communication with me throughout.
When I first contracted with Christina, it was to complete one small project. Because of the quality of her work and the ease of working with her, I ultimately have had her undertake four other projects. This is a testimony to my satisfaction with her work. She is a joy to work with, and her creations have brought joy to my life. I offer Christina Cole my unconditional recommendation.

"I have two huge windows that I like to have window treatment. I am a bit concern order online. But the price is reasonable and I gave it a try. Man, it is worth it. The drapes arrived beautifully, more than I expected. It fits perfectly. The customer service was great. Mary, the person I worked with went extra miles to deliver the trims my wife wanted and turned out beautifully. After this, I ordered two more drapes from them. This is a honest company and I highly recommend it. They are professional and very dedicated to customer needs. Robert M. in Ringgold GA"

"Overall, I had a very good experience with the Handyman. The Handyman had a wonderful personality and did an excellent job on my project. He worked quickly and efficiently. From receiving the quote to scheduling the appointment to the actual job getting done was a very swift process. The lady in the office was able to get back to me in a timely manner on the same day that I placed the inquiry to provide a quote and worked with me to schedule the appointment during a timeframe that fit for both myself and the company. I would highly recommend this company."

Custom window treatments cost $800 per window, ranging from $150 to $3,000 for materials alone, before labor is factored in. Blinds are the most economical option, while custom curtains and drapes are more expensive due to intricate designs and premium materials. The final cost depends on your style preferences, material quality, and the complexity of the installation.
Mini blinds are the most cost-effective window treatment available, providing efficient light control and exceptional value. They offer the lowest cost option at $600 per set and serve as a dependable solution for budget-conscious homeowners. Roller shades and valances offer cost savings by avoiding premium materials, ensuring that quality design and functional installations remain uncompromised.
Prices increase with larger windows, premium materials, and additional labor for complex installations. High-grade fabrics, hardwoods, intricate designs, and motorized hardware all contribute to the total cost. For instance, drapes run more than Roman shades because they use more fabric and detailing. Still, a well-chosen treatment pays you back in style, privacy, and insulation.
Layering treatments—say, a sheer shade paired with floor-length drapes—adds depth and polish to any room. Sticking to one color family keeps the look cohesive while mixing textures boosts dimension, sound absorption, and energy efficiency. You also gain flexible light control, shifting from full sun to total blackout without swapping hardware.
Energy-efficient window treatments lower energy costs by minimizing heat transfer through advanced fabric technology and design. They block excessive sunlight while maintaining a consistent indoor temperature, thereby reducing the demand on heating and cooling systems. They retain heat in winter and keep your home cool in summer, maintaining year-round comfort and producing measurable savings on electric bills through superior energy management.
Bay, picture, and dormer windows rarely pair well with shutters because their unique shapes demand more flexible coverings. For a cleaner fit and better performance, choose treatments tailored to those dimensions—think custom shades, drapes, or valances that accentuate the architecture instead of competing with it.
