He was very knowledgeable about the area and the surrounding buildings and the nature of the light that my co-op receives.  I arranged for a visit to his shop where in a matter of a few hours I made my selections.  He guided me to the fabric and shade choices that enabled me to make a decision in one visit.  It was approximately six weeks from the date of my selection to the final installation.  Due to availability of materials there were two installations.  I am very happy with the results and would use them again if and when the need arises.

I would recommend Moses Klein & Klein Blinds to everyone. He worked tirelessly to have my curtains installed. He is resourceful, thorough, detail-oriented, thoughtful about his work, reliable, and an exceptionally pleasant person. "Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."

"These guys were TERRIFIC!  Right from the start, Mike scheduled a convenient night to bring us samples of carpeting and tiles.  This job was time sensitive since we're expecting a new baby in a few weeks and wanted this completed prior to that.  Aware of our situation, Mike made several wonderful carpet/tile suggestions, offered us a fair price, and went ahead and ordered the materials right then!  He also scheduled a quick installation date while accomodating our schedule.  He kept us informed every step of the way.  On installation day, he arrived with the installers (Raul and Mario) and ensured that everything was in order before he left.  The workers were incredible!  They worked non-stop and cleaned up everything before they left.  I cannot say enough good thing about this company.  I would use them again and refer them to all my friends.  I had gotten a quote from another company who told me the installation would take three days.  Mike assured me this could be a one-day job, and he was good to his word.  Although the installers worked into the evening, they managed to finish everything in one day!  I was so impressed!  Best of all, my place looks wonderful!"

"This is a "profit making company"...that wants to make a BIG SALE...while my job is only ONE window...too small for them is my opinion after talking with the lady receptionist asking me "Do you want an advisement appointment?".....which sounded expensive....like they might charge me "an advisement fee" for this small job. No thanks...what I need is a "handyman" who knows how to help me buy a window cover at Home Depot..install it...and I pay for his time and labor...a "win-win" arrangement....see what I mean?"
