"They arrived on time, removed the old window coverings, installed the new ones, and hauled away the packaging and old rods and curtains. The cost was very reasonable. We have more window treatments to install and we will definitely use them in the future."

"The designer was so great, even included my kids in the design experience. She really took into consideration our style and what we needed functionality. The installers were absolutely wonderful. Quick, kind and curious. They even checked with me that I was happy with the layout. Highly recommend this company."

"Harry is the best in the business! He is efficient, professional, and prompt. I purchased binds from Josel Blinds, and needed to repaint an area in one of my rooms. Harry came back out within 24 hours of my call to assist me in taking down my blind, as I was having difficulty with it myself. Harry has excellent taste, and the beautiful blinds he recommended for my windows, in my 80 year old home, look outstanding. They are timeless and chic. I highly recommend Harry, and simply cannot say enough good things about him!"

I like to think of my self as the best problem solver around. I'm sure there's a million ways to get the job done. But I only want to make sure its done right, The first time.\nI've been doing maintainece repairs for about 2 and half years now. I started off on my own path a couple of weeks ago and I've been off to what seems like a great start. Custom window treatments cost $800 per window, ranging from $150 to $3,000 for materials alone, before labor is factored in. Blinds are the most economical option, while custom curtains and drapes are more expensive due to intricate designs and premium materials. The final cost depends on your style preferences, material quality, and the complexity of the installation.
Mini blinds are the most cost-effective window treatment available, providing efficient light control and exceptional value. They offer the lowest cost option at $600 per set and serve as a dependable solution for budget-conscious homeowners. Roller shades and valances offer cost savings by avoiding premium materials, ensuring that quality design and functional installations remain uncompromised.
Prices increase with larger windows, premium materials, and additional labor for complex installations. High-grade fabrics, hardwoods, intricate designs, and motorized hardware all contribute to the total cost. For instance, drapes run more than Roman shades because they use more fabric and detailing. Still, a well-chosen treatment pays you back in style, privacy, and insulation.
Layering treatments—say, a sheer shade paired with floor-length drapes—adds depth and polish to any room. Sticking to one color family keeps the look cohesive while mixing textures boosts dimension, sound absorption, and energy efficiency. You also gain flexible light control, shifting from full sun to total blackout without swapping hardware.
Energy-efficient window treatments lower energy costs by minimizing heat transfer through advanced fabric technology and design. They block excessive sunlight while maintaining a consistent indoor temperature, thereby reducing the demand on heating and cooling systems. They retain heat in winter and keep your home cool in summer, maintaining year-round comfort and producing measurable savings on electric bills through superior energy management.
Bay, picture, and dormer windows rarely pair well with shutters because their unique shapes demand more flexible coverings. For a cleaner fit and better performance, choose treatments tailored to those dimensions—think custom shades, drapes, or valances that accentuate the architecture instead of competing with it.
