"We are very happy we chose the Shutter Company to manufacture and install our shutters and shades in our new Condominium. The consultation went very well as the representative was very thorough and patient in showing us our options and working through to our final selection. Customer service followed up throughout the process and worked with us on our payment terms and due dates. The products were delivered on time and the installation was perfect. Their products are made in the USA which was a plus. Although they were the highest bidder of three companies, we chose the Shutter Company because of the consultation and US based manufacturing. We were not disappointed, and neither will you be if you choose the Shutter Company for your windows."

"Steve Overgard and his team replaced non functioning over sized windows in the house I bought that was partially renovated. These were 9x5 three panel picture windows over looking the water. The team measured, ordered custom windows, and installed them perfectly. They matched the paint color for the wide sill and frame. They completed all the finishing without any blue tags needed. I will use them again."

"This is the best house washer we have ever used. As part of their service, Repair Pro treats the outside of the windows with a product that leaves them spot-free when they are finished. They did a great job and we will definitely be using them again!"

"I hired Victor to reglaze windows on the 2nd floor of a historic home. he was prompt, reasonably priced and cleaned up afterwards. No problems at all, and he replaced a broken pane. I did have some follow on work for him, but after 3 messages, have not received a call back, so need to get someone else."

"Great customer service and work was done in shorter time than I expected."
Custom window treatments cost $800 per window, ranging from $150 to $3,000 for materials alone, before labor is factored in. Blinds are the most economical option, while custom curtains and drapes are more expensive due to intricate designs and premium materials. The final cost depends on your style preferences, material quality, and the complexity of the installation.
Mini blinds are the most cost-effective window treatment available, providing efficient light control and exceptional value. They offer the lowest cost option at $600 per set and serve as a dependable solution for budget-conscious homeowners. Roller shades and valances offer cost savings by avoiding premium materials, ensuring that quality design and functional installations remain uncompromised.
Prices increase with larger windows, premium materials, and additional labor for complex installations. High-grade fabrics, hardwoods, intricate designs, and motorized hardware all contribute to the total cost. For instance, drapes run more than Roman shades because they use more fabric and detailing. Still, a well-chosen treatment pays you back in style, privacy, and insulation.
Layering treatments—say, a sheer shade paired with floor-length drapes—adds depth and polish to any room. Sticking to one color family keeps the look cohesive while mixing textures boosts dimension, sound absorption, and energy efficiency. You also gain flexible light control, shifting from full sun to total blackout without swapping hardware.
Energy-efficient window treatments lower energy costs by minimizing heat transfer through advanced fabric technology and design. They block excessive sunlight while maintaining a consistent indoor temperature, thereby reducing the demand on heating and cooling systems. They retain heat in winter and keep your home cool in summer, maintaining year-round comfort and producing measurable savings on electric bills through superior energy management.
Bay, picture, and dormer windows rarely pair well with shutters because their unique shapes demand more flexible coverings. For a cleaner fit and better performance, choose treatments tailored to those dimensions—think custom shades, drapes, or valances that accentuate the architecture instead of competing with it.
