"The initial meeting to measure and discuss the window treatments went very well. Chris of ABC Windows and his father have been in the business for at least thirty years first in the Bronx and now in Tuckahoe, NY.
He was very knowledgeable about the area and the surrounding buildings and the nature of the light that my co-op receives. I arranged for a visit to his shop where in a matter of a few hours I made my selections. He guided me to the fabric and shade choices that enabled me to make a decision in one visit. It was approximately six weeks from the date of my selection to the final installation. Due to availability of materials there were two installations. I am very happy with the results and would use them again if and when the need arises.

"Kristine initially met with me in my apartment and, after taking basic measurements, reviewed all of the viable options with me, their pros/cons and costs. She found that there was a manufacturer rebate program starting in a few days and, by waiting to submit the offer, saved me additional $$$. Steven followed up to take precise measurements of my windows (they are each variable in width at different points from top to bottom). He then returned when they received the shades from the manufacturer to install them. The fit and look are excellent. The installation was done neatly and quickly but with care and precision.

"The windows were manufactured earlier than we expected and we were promptly contacted about installation. Although we were told the installation was scheduled for two days, the four man crew that arrived was able to finish in a single day! Each window was installed with the same consistency in quality and efficiency. Furthermore, the crew did an excellent job protecting our floors and furnishings in every room. When it comes to evaluating the installation crew, we couldn't be happier. Regarding price, we probably paid more than we should, but that's on us. We advise getting several other quotes first and then get Castle's quote. This will definitely help in your negotiating. The windows have definitely helped to eliminate draftiness in our home and helped to maintain a consistent temperature."
