I have over 15 years of construction experience as a teen and young adult but have spent the last 13+ years performing facility maintenance for my local school district where for the last five years I ran the department. I had to leave the district because of certain life situations, so I decided to start my own handyman service to enable me to be more involved with my family's needs. I am YNOT Services LLC and am Licensed and insured to do work as well as accredited with the BBB in Colorado. I am offering quality work at an affordable rate, and I do things the right way every time. If there is ever a job, I can't do I will not be shy about saying so, but chances are I will have a few suggestions as to who can. I am a lifelong resident of western Colorado and want the people of the area I grew up in to get quality service that won't break the bank.

"I never contacted the provider or used this service in anyway. I have to
write this review so that the request to write this review stops
popping up.
The rating is bogus as it is required to be able to submit.

"My Uncle David from Florida had ordered a front door and then Nick then went to pick it up at home Depot and then he came out Saturday November 16th 2024 and he installed the new door and even put new locks on our door he is really good and reasonable on prices. Nick is really good on pricing it wasn't too expensive so if anybody that needs a new door or anything that will be done in your house as door wise and flooring he's the man for you to get it done he is great very respectful. The project was top notch. Not only did he consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great!"

"Quality work for a Fair price."
Custom window treatments cost $800 per window, ranging from $150 to $3,000 for materials alone, before labor is factored in. Blinds are the most economical option, while custom curtains and drapes are more expensive due to intricate designs and premium materials. The final cost depends on your style preferences, material quality, and the complexity of the installation.
Mini blinds are the most cost-effective window treatment available, providing efficient light control and exceptional value. They offer the lowest cost option at $600 per set and serve as a dependable solution for budget-conscious homeowners. Roller shades and valances offer cost savings by avoiding premium materials, ensuring that quality design and functional installations remain uncompromised.
Prices increase with larger windows, premium materials, and additional labor for complex installations. High-grade fabrics, hardwoods, intricate designs, and motorized hardware all contribute to the total cost. For instance, drapes run more than Roman shades because they use more fabric and detailing. Still, a well-chosen treatment pays you back in style, privacy, and insulation.
Layering treatments—say, a sheer shade paired with floor-length drapes—adds depth and polish to any room. Sticking to one color family keeps the look cohesive while mixing textures boosts dimension, sound absorption, and energy efficiency. You also gain flexible light control, shifting from full sun to total blackout without swapping hardware.
Energy-efficient window treatments lower energy costs by minimizing heat transfer through advanced fabric technology and design. They block excessive sunlight while maintaining a consistent indoor temperature, thereby reducing the demand on heating and cooling systems. They retain heat in winter and keep your home cool in summer, maintaining year-round comfort and producing measurable savings on electric bills through superior energy management.
Bay, picture, and dormer windows rarely pair well with shutters because their unique shapes demand more flexible coverings. For a cleaner fit and better performance, choose treatments tailored to those dimensions—think custom shades, drapes, or valances that accentuate the architecture instead of competing with it.
