"Amazing!!! We bought our home 6 months ago and it appeared that the windows had not been washed outside for many years. Both my husband and I tried to clean a few with no success, we could not get the built up water deposits, etc. to come off. The Window Genie crew of two came in and had all our windows sparkling before they left. They were very professional, friendly and worked hard. We will use them again for window washing and the other cleaning services they provide. We highly recommend."

"Claudia measured the 20 windows when she first visited. All the prep work was done before arrival. The shutters were installed in one day. Every shutter fit. The Covians were efficient; the work was professionally done. They are an excellent sub- contractor."

"Casey and his wife Jessicah were so kind when I talked with them about the damage to my front door. They came out 24 hours after we talked and got the damage to my front door mended so my family is safe. I will definitely reach out to them in the future to help me out with anything else that comes up. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking to get any repairs done."

Custom window treatments cost $800 per window, ranging from $150 to $3,000 for materials alone, before labor is factored in. Blinds are the most economical option, while custom curtains and drapes are more expensive due to intricate designs and premium materials. The final cost depends on your style preferences, material quality, and the complexity of the installation.
Mini blinds are the most cost-effective window treatment available, providing efficient light control and exceptional value. They offer the lowest cost option at $600 per set and serve as a dependable solution for budget-conscious homeowners. Roller shades and valances offer cost savings by avoiding premium materials, ensuring that quality design and functional installations remain uncompromised.
Prices increase with larger windows, premium materials, and additional labor for complex installations. High-grade fabrics, hardwoods, intricate designs, and motorized hardware all contribute to the total cost. For instance, drapes run more than Roman shades because they use more fabric and detailing. Still, a well-chosen treatment pays you back in style, privacy, and insulation.
Layering treatments—say, a sheer shade paired with floor-length drapes—adds depth and polish to any room. Sticking to one color family keeps the look cohesive while mixing textures boosts dimension, sound absorption, and energy efficiency. You also gain flexible light control, shifting from full sun to total blackout without swapping hardware.
Energy-efficient window treatments lower energy costs by minimizing heat transfer through advanced fabric technology and design. They block excessive sunlight while maintaining a consistent indoor temperature, thereby reducing the demand on heating and cooling systems. They retain heat in winter and keep your home cool in summer, maintaining year-round comfort and producing measurable savings on electric bills through superior energy management.
Bay, picture, and dormer windows rarely pair well with shutters because their unique shapes demand more flexible coverings. For a cleaner fit and better performance, choose treatments tailored to those dimensions—think custom shades, drapes, or valances that accentuate the architecture instead of competing with it.
