Each window had different issues I contacted them and they came and did an estimate for the work. They also explained exactly what work would be done. They were very thorough and transparent. They did the estimate in the fall and the work was scheduled in the spring. They came on the date that was scheduled, amazing! They were extremely reliable, and showed up for all work as scheduled.They did beautiful work. It is such a pleasure to be able to open all my windows!. The business is very well run, very professional. From the lovely woman in the office to the gentlemen that came to work at the house, they were all terrific. "I had just moved here, to a house that needs a lot of work. Bob Phalan was thorough, skilled, and effective. For the initial assessment, he found that the frame around the basement door had been ajar for years, which was one reason it leaked air so badly. He replaced the entire frame, as well as the door. It's beautiful now. For the window, he put in an energy-efficient Harvey replacement with a lot more glass, so the basement isn't as dark. He worked around a thicket of electrical cables and plumbing, which limited his access, but the results look great. As a result, the basement is five degrees warmer now. The first-floor rooms are warmer, too, because there are several places (fireplace, plumbing) where the basement air leaks upstairs. I'll get to those soon... He's not the cheapest guy out there, but he's very, very good. Plus, he didn't waste my time, or his."

"Chris has done interior painting, exterior painting a window and sliding door (including replacing rotted wood), installed a bathroom exhaust fan/light (including new wiring and outlet), replaced a bathroom vanity light fixture, made an insulated closet scuttle hole to the attic and fixed a leaking skylight. Chris made suggestions, including wiring the exhaust fan/light separately so they can be turned off/on separately, which he did and I'm very happy with. I would definitely hire Chris again!"
