"For years, I refused to hire a cleaning service because I was convinced nobody would do as good a job as I do myself (I probably was overestimating my wonderful cleaning abilities, but anyway...) Last year, though, I finally realized that any regular cleaning would be an improvement over my effort every couple of months. Well, I feel like I really lucked out finding Flor's. Elliot, who runs the company, is terrific. He came here for the first visit in order to make sure he understood (and could explain to Isabel) exactly what I wanted done. Since then, he's been extremely responsive to any emails or phone calls I've sent about rescheduling or any other issues. Isbael, who actually handles the cleaning, does SO much better than I ever did on my own. She works very hard while she's here and is incredibly thorough, doing my hardwood floors each time with Murphy's, vacuuming all my furniture, dusting, vacuuming carpets, cleaning stainless steel applicances, etc. Although she doesn't really speak English, and I unfortunately don't speak Spanish, it's worked just fine for me to communicate through Elliot. I trust them with keys to my place and my alarm code. I think their prices (approximately $18 per hour) are unusually reasonable and, truth be told, probably below market - I would expect and would actually be willing to pay more like $23-25 per hour for this level of service (although I do add a gratuity to every charge, which brings the total cost up a bit.) This experience, for me, is an example of how I've gotten my money's worth from Angie's List - I chose them because they were so highly rated and because of the comments other members made about their responsiveness, thoroughness, etc., and I haven't been disappointed."

"Oh wow.... they are AMAZING! We are quite picky about a very clean home and these housekeepers are just so great (usually the same two ladies come for 3-4 hours... up to 8 combined "work hours".) While the house can't be cleaned "top to bottom" every time, they know what needs to be done on a bi-weekly basis, monthly basis ... and maybe just a few times a year (like moving heavier furniture). "I contacted F and A Window Cleaning and within a day received a response from Alejandro Carapia indicating that they could indeed do the window washing as well as clean my ceiling fan (in living room in cathedral ceiling) as well as the 12' tall mirror I also have in my living room. He did provide me with a list of the costs of the cleaning of the different sizes of windows and the cleaning of the ceiling fan and mirror. He also indicated that the work could be scheduled at any time with 24 hours advanced notice. His cleaning crew came out the next week and were finished within a couple of hours. They did and excellent job. The costs of the work was much lower than expected especially with the discount I was given. F and A Window Cleaning is an excellent company and I shall certainly hire them again. I highly recommend F and A Window Cleaning Company."

"Everything went very well. Constantine arrived on time. He introduced himself. Constantine appeared neat and clean. He was very polite. We have unusual windows, so my husband showed him how to tilt them open from the inside in order to wash the exterior of the lower half of the windows. Constantine began the project by using a ladder to reach the exterior of the top half of the windows. When he was done cleaning the top half, he came inside and cleaned the bottom half of the windows. He also brushed the screens. The windows look great! They are now spotless. Constantine was very thorough and worked carefully. It was clear that he wanted to do a good job. Nothing was damaged. Constantine communicated well was also pleasant to deal with from beginning to end. I would like to add that Olga was very helpful when I called AMRUSS, Inc., to schedule the work.
