"Jay's Small Moves was punctual and arrived right on time at 8am, which I was extremely surprised about especially since it was a Saturday. I was worried about the items that couldn't be put in a box (i.e. large lamps, computer tower, bathroom mats, etc.), but they have large "speed-pak" boxes where they carefully pack the "loose" items in. The team had lots of blankets (for the TV, mirrors, etc.) and shrink wrap (for desks, futon, sofa, etc.). We didn't have our bed disassembled before they arrived, but not to worry because one of the movers did it for us. They have the tools and they are very well experienced because one person disassembled the bed within 10-15 minutes. Needless to say I was impressed. Packing took around a little over a hour and a half and getting to the house took around another half hour. Upon arrival at the house, the team was quick to unload, but also extremely careful about not scratching the walls or leaving any scuff marks on the wood floor. The bed frame was reassembled within 10 minutes (*mind blown*) and they finished unloading within 45 minutes or so. While unloading, they were very attentive to where boxes need to go (boxes labeled kitchen went to the kitchen, etc.). All in all, my wife and I were very surprised at the efficiency and professionalism of the workers. While they are priced $10/hr higher than other movers, I would gladly pay the additional money for the level of service. **As a side note, we provided 3 cold bottles of water for the team - I think this goes a long way!"

"Overall, my experience was very good. The person who helped me with my quote was responsive and personable. We did have some communication issues regarding some of the items we wanted moved. We crews that helped us with the physical move worked very hard and provided solutions when issues came up. The single recommendation I could provide to anyone is be 100% sure everything you want to move is on the digital inventory at least 5 days before moving day. The day of the move, I found things were missing on the digital inventory even though we talked about it."

Once again Tommy responded within an hour of us filling out the form, and Moses came down to take a look right away. This was a smaller in-town move, so we felt confident being able to move a lot of the little stuff ourselves. Moses gave us a very reasonable quote and we knew if we could move more stuff ourselves it might even cost less. They were even flexible with us moving our date up earlier with 24 hrs notice, which made the move so much more convenient on our end. The crew showed up on time, and with a great attitude they moved all the heavy stuff we couldn't manage ourselves. The best part: the move was faster than Moses predicted and so they charged us less. When do you hear about a company who charges less than they quoted?? That's what you can expect from these guys. Totally fair and upfront about everything. I would have them move my grandmother if she needed it. Highly recommend!!"

They picked up on time one morning and delivered on time the next morning despite a horrendous overnight rainstorm. (I would have understood completely if they had been delayed.)
