"Good Guys did a whole house paint job for me on short notice. I hadn't planned on it, and so didn't give them much lead time. They stepped up and got the job done. The work was professional and thorough, and I'm extremely happy. They whole team went out of their way for me. I would recommend Good Guys Painting to anyone!"

"A  skilled, personable, helpful, reliable, trustworthy, conscientious, steady worker.
Responded and came out within a week or so. Neat, clean and punctual.
His hourly fee is higher than others in my area. However, he is the kind of handyman you can hire who will get the job done well.
I'd say "worry free". There was no need for me to be watchful, to clean up anything after him,  wonder if he was on the cell phone, or be concerned that he was "messing up".
A quality, worry-free, skilled handyman.

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Ada, OH

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
