"I will say the gentleman I dealt with from Cronkhite was very personable and professional. We met twice - once for him to look at the deck and take measurements, and again a week or so later so he could give me the price quote - and he was on time, or close to on time, for both appointments. For me this was strictly an issue with pricing. I wanted a cover over my approximately 10x12 deck. He provided me with a quote of $6,224 for an aluminum cover (this included rain gutters, etc. - it would have been a very nice cover judging from the photo examples he showed me). But 4 years ago a metal roof for my entire house installed by Sundown Exteriors was only $8,955. Granted, I don't have a huge house - two bedroom, one bath, one story - but I just couldn't justify spending almost 70% of the cost of my entire roof for a deck cover. But if you have the money to spend, I'm sure they do very nice work."

"They did a great job. Our older wood siding was peeling badly. They did a great job power-washing and prepping all the surfaces and the paint job looks awesome. Courteous and helpful in giving me tips on how to help the paint job last well. Answer my many questions professionally, accurately, and promptly. Would hire again for sure!"

"The work was done with perfection. It included complete renovation of my bathroom and the work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. He consulted us on a few colors and shades, but otherwise, he took it upon himself to completely satisfy us when we asked for a "rustic" look. "I hired the company to do a make ready [clean up & prep] on a single apartment in a building which I own in the  town where I live. I needed the property to be cleaned up so I could rent it again.  I have been a landlord for over 20 years & hadn't found a vacated property in such a mess in all my years. They did the complete interior clean-up which took about five hours. And, the complete prep of the property. they took out all the trash & junk, and cleaned up all debris left in the yard. They did such a great job with that I decided to use them for the yard maintenance also. They cleaned all my flowerbeds & got them ready for spring, placed mulch & trimmed the shrubs and flowering trees. On the inside they made everything look brand new! Cleaning the walls, painting, cleaned the carpets & stripped & polished the wood floors...making them look brand new. The appliances that stayed were cleaned inside & out. They even remembered to get all the light fixtures clean for me. Dusted all window seals & doorways. Shine mopped all they tile floors. To top it all off they even gave the bathrooms a fresh clean look by putting a new caulk seal around the tubs, sinks & shower...which gave the bathrooms a fresh face. All in all I found it to be a very stress free pleasant experience. And, I will definitely call on them for the next project because if they could do so well with a nightmare like that I'm sure the less difficult will be equally affordable and easily handled. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
