"When I called and left a message for Darrell, he returned my call right away. He explained that replacing my shutters would probably take a day, and he could do the job between his other, bigger jobs, calling me the day before he planned to come. That was fine with me - I understood it's not a huge job, I wasn't really in a big hurry, and my schedule is very flexible. He called a few weeks later, saying he's coming the next day at around 8am, and sure enough, he showed up when he said he would! That alone scores points! My husband and I had purchased replacement shutters from Lowe's already, so Darrell's job was just taking down the old ones and putting up the new ones we already had. After a short time, he told us something we hadn't noticed: the first-floor shutters are longer than the second-floor shutters. We just measured the one that was knocked off the second floor, and bought the same size for all the windows. Darrell went to a local building supplier right away and brought back a sample wheel for us to choose from, and we did. Before he committed to the purchase, he figured he'd go to Lowe's and see if they had the same thing we bought, only in the proper, longer size. Well, they did, and he bought them. Lowe's has a great return policy, so we just returned the original ones that didn't fit - no problem! Darrell did a great job and explained how the way he screwed the new shutters in would be sturdier than the original ones. They'll probably last at least another 16 years, probably longer. Darrell was very polite, friendly and respectful. He did all this running around in the morning and still finished the job by about 2pm! His actual labor charge was $350 ... the remaining was the cost of the shutters he purchased for us. We'd hire Darrell again in a heartbeat!"

Compared to other companies we got a great fair price and our basement that was flooded is now dry as a bone! The workers really work hard and finished our entire basement in less than 2 days. "We coordinated with BJ to have the work done while we were on vacation. That way when we returned we could drive on the newly coated driveway. Not being there I was concerned with the quality of work. I didn't have to worry. The coating on the drive was just what BJ said it would be, the sides of the drive were finished beautifully, the spots on the drive that needed extra work were finished just as good. I couldn't be happier. It was well worth the price!! You can see by the quality of work this will last several years. BJ and his crew did an excellent job and I have been bragging on his work to the neighbors. <br />"

"I purchased a ranch home with a finished basement in 2012 in Chester County. The sellers lied on the seller’s disclosure form and stated that the basement did not get any water. The first heavy rainstorm that we had left behind 2 inches of water in the entire basement. I had another basement waterproofing company come in to give me an estimate… naturally, after getting that estimate, I called a second company to compare, this time I called Access Basement Systems. Michael came out and was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His estimate came in quite a bit lower than the other company, and I just felt that he was the right person to use. This time, I knew that the house we were purchasing had a problem with water in the basement. We got a good deal on it, so it was worth purchasing the home and repairing the problem. Since I had such a good experience using Access Basement Systems the last time, I hired him to repair the problem in my new house. This time, they also do finishing work (since our basement is currently finished). Super convenient that they can come in, tear the walls down, put in the waterproofing system, and refinish my basement in just a couple of weeks time. Jesse had to use people from Elizabethtown to get concrete delivered to Etters. The contents of our barn are once again under roof. We are most pleased with the floor. Jesse is very easy to work with. He fulfilled every item in the contract plus a few items beyond for which he asked no additional money. Because what he did saved time and energy for me, I paid him extra anyway. If I were to have another concrete job, I would definitely want Jesse to do it."
