Rico and Reyes showed up EARLY, upbeat, and ready to tackle the challenge—even with super heavy furniture that usually requires a 4-person crew. Somehow, the two of them handled everything like pros without a single scratch or ding—on the furniture or either home. What really stood out was how personable, kind, and thoughtful they were. They moved quickly and efficiently, knowing I was paying by the hour, but never once sacrificed care or quality. They were kind to my mom (who was helping me out), and so sweet to my two dogs too. If you’re planning a move, ask for Rico and Reyes by name. They went above and beyond, and I want their team to know what a fantastic job they did. "First I will start with the movers themselves. They were the positive. They did a good job. The negative was the service from the office and the owner himself. We were moving from a rental 3 bedroom townhome in Ankeny to a new hone we purchased in Johnston. We also have a storage unit in Monroe that needed to be moved to the new home as well. My wife filled out all of the info online for what we had. We do have a good amount of items for a 3 bedroom place. We moved to Iowa two years ago with a packed full 26 foot truck. I thought there was a good chance that two loads would be needed. But that was never asked to us. The guys got there on time and went through the inventory of everything. Also went through what they had listed that was at our storage. No issues. They got everything loaded and it was clear that with the way it was packed, the truck would needed to be unloaded at the new house and then to the storage to load that. Extra money out of our pocket but we needed to get it all. On the way to the new home, my wife gets an email that the crew was booked in the afternoon and that the storage would have to be done at another time. I called the office to ask about this because this was ridiculous to me. No sorry was said. She just kept telling me about how it was my wife’s fault and that she didn’t list things correctly. “On our list, it should have easily fit on the truck.” HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Again, we moved all of our items across country on a 26’ truck so I know it fits. The the owner called me and it was the same thing. Just kept blaming my wife. The crew went over the inventory and the. The list for the storage which was correct. But somehow it was my wife’s fault. And no sorry. They couldn’t even get the storage for a few days later. No thank you!! Not giving another dime to this company and I urge you not to as well unless you want extremely poor service from the owner himself!!!"

"Lifeson's crew was fantastic! They were considerate and fast. The actual cost came in under their quite reasonable bid because they worked so efficiently. They moved my piano and treadmill both with care for the objects and for the wood floors in my rental house."

"It went terribly. Andrew was nice on the phone, but as soon as he arrived at the house he was rude, arrogant, and would not let me get a word in edgewise. He was looking for more ways to raise the quote and when I didn't agree to pay the raised rate he was trying to charge me a cancellation fee. Here is the deal, I would have paid the fee, but he would not let me get a word in edgewise and was quite belligerent on the phone. This has been some of the worst customer service I have encountered in ages. I would NOT recommend this company even they offered to move a piano for free."
