"<p>PLEASE READ! Mr. Long has restored our faith in contractors! We live in Charleston, SC. This area was hit by hurricane Hugo almost 25 years ago. Now many of the roofs that were put on are failing and the roofing companies are very busy. Our roof is only eight years old and we had three leaks. I had a difficult time finding someone for the repairs. They would either be extremely high with their quote, never send me a quote, or did not show up at all. I even called roofing companies that had on their voice mail they would not be doing repairs because they were too busy with full roofs.</p> <p>When I called Mr. Long he told me there were four people in front of me. I followed up with him about a week later and he came out within two days for the quote. He was very honest with us and gave us a fair price. If he takes a couple of days to get to you it is only because he has other jobs because he does good quality work. If you call someone to come and fix your house and they can be there in five minutes and start that day during this busy of a time for roofs, then what is the reason they are not busy? My point is the quality of work was worth waiting for. </p> <p>He came and worked on our home for three days. He did a really good job, it rained yesterday and so far no leaks! Also I would like to mention that the last day he was here I left to run an errand and I was in a very bad car accident six months pregnant. I received a message on my phone from him when he was finished that night, he was sincerely worried about me and the baby and just wanted to know if we were ok. He did not even care about payment since it was his last day, he was only worried about our welfare. He is a truly nice and caring person and he will be working on our home from now on. He will also be the person I recommend to everyone. My husband and I are very grateful for such a great contractor. "Working with Leeland's was a great experience. I had a significant leak in my slate roof and the service appointment was scheduled very quickly. It was explained to me that the way they perform the repair and maintenance jobs was to have me pre-authorize $800 worth of work (time and materials) and if it went over that they would write up a separate estimate. If it was less they would only charge me for the actual work performed. The roofer showed up on time and was very professional. He was onsite for maybe 4 to 5 hours. The leak was fixed that day and 15 other slates that were missing or damaged were also repaired. He took photos of everything that was done - before and after and they were emailed to me in a PDF file later that week. Also included in the email was three estimates for other areas on the roof that need attention. I am planning on having them out to perform general maintenance on the roof every year. Total cost of all repairs was $400. <br />"

Have had a few people comment on how well the roof looks now and what a good job that was done. I believe he did more work than was anticipated. Project finished as scheduled and within the estimate given. Definitely they deserve a 5 STAR rating..."
