I was shocked when I found out that there is not a big demand for these types of driveways in Gainesville. That is changing quick based on the responses from my neighbors. "I recently purchased a home that had significant water damage to an exterior wall.  I got estimates from multiple people and initially went with another company since Gary's price was a little higher due to the fact he wanted to do a more extensive rebuild.  After the first company I hired dug into the wall they realized the damage was worse than they thought and they were not licensed to do what needed to be done.  I called Gary back and he came by the very next morning to assess the situation.  He honored his earlier estimate even though what the other company had messed up was going to take him more work to fix.  Once he started working, he realized that whoever initially built the wall had not done a good job and some things were not up to code, which again created more work for him.  We eventually got everything put back together for roughly the initial estimate, even after the additional materials and labor. <br /> A month or two after he finished the work, my roof developed a leak near where he had been working.  Even though it was likely not his fault (I had a new roof installed by a different company right around the same time), simply because there was a small chance that it might have been, he returned multiple times to troubleshoot where the leak was coming from.  He eventually completely redid a small portion of the roof in the area where the leak was and that fixed the problem.  Meanwhile, the new doorjamb that he had installed warped slightly due to the Florida humidity, causing the door to become crooked.  He came and fixed this problem also, no questions asked. <br /> I am a first-time homeowner, meaning I didn't know a lot going into this process .  Gary was and continues to be extremely helpful.  In my opinion he is a very trustworthy and skilled contractor."

"Three dogs, two cats, red Georgia clay soil and light colored carpet is not a good mix. (We are former Yankees... who knew?) Keeping it semi-clean was taking hours every week, with daily vacuuming and monthly shampooing. In spite of that, the carpet never looked good or was really clean.  We wanted something that would hold up to rambunctious dogs with dirty feet, clean quickly and easily, and still look good when a little dirty, and fantastic when clean. <br /> <hr /> Dalton Carpet One Flooring Consultant Donna Brannon made a house call, measured our rooms and looked at our furniture and situation. Back in the showroom, she patiently and exhaustively reviewed many options with us and ultimately helped us select INVINCIBLE Vinyl Plank flooring: Piedmont #36766 13"x26" stone-look vinyl tiles for the bathrooms, and McIntosh #20860 8"x52" multi-colored vinyl wood-look planks in all other areas. INVINCIBLE vinyl planks are textured, dent, scratch, scuff and stain resistant and looks almost as good as real wood and stone. It has a four-sided locking, waterproof joint that isn't supposed to "shrink, expand, curl or gap - ever." The warranty is amazing - Lifetime: Life of floor wear; life of floor fade, stain or discolor; life of floor rip, tear, gouge & indent; life of floor water; life of floor locking system; life of floor installation. Try to find a stronger, better warranty than that! We have light colored maple cabinets in the kitchen, white accent tables, oak and cherry shelving tables and dressers, and a table that is nearly black. The McIntosh #20860 wood-look flooring looks fantastic and goes with all of them. It is an amazing mix of colors that is as good a choice for a variety of furniture colors and styles that one could find.  The Piedmont #36766 stone-look planks have turned our bathrooms from ho-hum to showplaces. We couldn't be happier with our choices. PERIOD.   <br /> <hr /> The installation took four full days, and was handled by two of Dalton Carpet One's staff installers, not by temp workers:  Stuart Collins and Michael Barger. Donna had asked for them to be assigned to our job and we are extremely grateful that she did.  Stuart and Michael are exactly the kind of people you want doing work in your home: careful, respectful, hardworking, creative, and honest. We had no concerns about having them work in our home. We quickly trusted them completely. Big bonus: they are both intelligent and funny guys that work terrifically together as a team. They did a great job of installing our flooring. We discovered a "crunching" sound when walking on some of the tiles, and Stuart and Michael quickly removed them, re-cleaned under them and re-installed them. Problem solved. <br /> <hr /> We could not be happier with our new floors. Dirt vacuums-up quickly and easily, and a light mopping removed muddy dog paw prints. The new floor is worth every penny we spent on it and I don't care if we might have paid less elsewhere. This is definatley a case of getting what we paid for. We are 100% satisfied with out purchase and we recommend Dalton Carpet One, and specifically Donna Barger, Stuart Collins, and Michael Barger *without reservation*. <br />"

"This is the second time I have used D&T Concrete and like the job before, they did an excellent job from start to finish.  D&T removed the concrete without damaging adjacent concrete and sprinkler system irrigation pipe.  When they laid out the forms for the new concrete, they checked the depth at every point to insure that the concrete slab was at least 4 inches deep throughout the slab.  Like the last time when D&T replaced two slabs, neighbors stop by and comment on how nice the new concrete looks.  These guys do great work at a reasonable price.  If I need additional concrete work, D&T Concrete will be doing it. <br />"
