"We went all season last year with one whole line in our system broken.  I wasn't going to go through another season with it still not working.  I called Gabriel's on a Friday in the late afternoon.  Efron came out to give an estimate on Saturday.  The repair was done on Monday.  I was aware of a broken valve and one broken sprinkler head in one line.  In the process of the repair Efron found another broken sprinkler head in a separate line in the system.  He fixed all three problems in the same visit.  He did a great job.  The system works like a charm.  Great guy to work with.  He's very helpful, very friendly."

"It went fairly smooth. All the individuals involved in the project were professional and kind. We had a little communication issue with the sub-contractors who did the actual job but got that all resolved easily. The job took longer than anticipated but that was due the removal of existing concrete steps - lots of time involved. However this did not cost us anymore because this was included in the project bid. The sales manager Scott Hartman and project manager Matt Lemon were both very easy to work with through the whole process. Both Scott and Matt came out one Saturday morning during the project because I had some misunderstanding about the design. I was very impressed with them giving the time needed to clarify some design concerns. We look forward to using the patio this summer and already enjoy the landscape lighting."

"I was very impressed with the service. I am a photography student so I work with a lot of heavy weight programs and very large files. I also do a ton of research along with my school work. After one year of using my brand new laptop for school, I had NO space left on my computer, it was crashing constantly, files were corrupting, and of course, everything was taking forever to load. "The repairs were done quickly once we made it to the top of the list and could have been completed in one day. There were more areas found once the repairs were started but they stuck with the original quote once I reminded them that I had asked about the low estimate. They found additional work that will still need to be done in the next few months and they provided pictures to explain the new finding. Their verbal estimate for those repairs are around $600 but I have yet to receive a written quote. I have to admit I was very frustrated with the lack of communication. I understand that there was a list of people who needed repairs done ahead of us and that most roofing company's are busy during the summer months, but several of the e mails or phone calls I made were not returned or very slow to be returned. All I wanted was a better estimated date or some form of communication. Our contract was signed in July and our repairs were not completed until the end of September. It was at least two months no communication initiated by them. I had to make the calls and few were returned. Not sure if I will hire again or not. The service person who was here did a wonderful job, but their communication (or lack of) was a huge dissatisfier."

"I picked Norway Landscaping because of the description of their services and their good reputation on Angie's list. I was particularly interested in their offer to work with clients as a team. This offer allowed me to go out and pick and purchase all of the materials that I wanted and then to transfer all the plants to peat pots with good soil to  contribute some "sweat equity" time and effort and to better assure the survival of the plants in the hard clay/slate mixture of soil in my yard. I work with adults with disabilities here who helped out with the transplanting and the Norway crew was great with me and our guys being out there too. They answered all my questions and did their work quickly (I was on a desperate time line) and very competently. Anytime I needed anything they were there for me and followed through as they promised--no nonsense or delays--just great work. The most fun of the project was working together on the design. The collaborative results were stunningly beautiful and yet affordable and stayed within my budget. This is a company that believes in real professionalism from its office support team (thank you Paula) to its crew leadership (thank you David) to its whole crew (thank you Andre and all the guys at Norway). "Two men from the company came out and gave an estimate for the number of man-hours the job would take and an estimate for the parts (4 valves & miscellaneous parts). And very importantly, the SAME two men came out to perform the job. They arrived on time and the job took exactly the number man-hours they had estimated. They really knew what they were doing - they were professionals ! The work was physically demanding (crawling around on their hands and knees) and they worked fast, even when they encountered the usual underground plumbing problems you encounter when the plumbing has been sitting underground for several decades. The plumbing work was really first class - but what really impressed me was that after all the digging out of sprinkler heads that was done, when they left they put the lawn back together so well that you couldn't tell the difference between the sprinkler heads that they replaced and the others that they didn't work on ! I would heartily recommend them for any lawn irrigation installation/maintenance/repair job. The man-hour billing rate is an established number for the company that they can tell you. The estimator job is to estimate the total number of man-hours the job will take and the approximate cost of the parts. Your job is to do the arithmetic to figure out how much the whole job will cost you."
