"My best to Sara’s Landscaping - Jose and his team! This was a difficult job as our property was overgrown! Jose started by trimming branches and cutting two large trees back from the roof and away from the house. Next, we had a large area covered in overgrown shrubbery/weeds and other small trees on one side of the property. Jose and his team removed everything and landscaped with new mulch, plants, and shrubs.....and now that area looks beautiful! They also removed 10 large dead and or dying shrubs from the front of the house and replaced with new mulch and beautiful Boxwoods. Additionally, he trimmed multiple overgrown Barberry and Burning Bush shrubs to a more appropriate size, and then weeded and mulched in that area as well. Lastly, a new drainage system was installed (including digging the drainage ditch) to carry water away from the house that gets pumped out via sump-pump and from the rain gutters. Overall, we are extremely pleased! Jose came with many solutions for this very difficulty job and completed the work quickly! The price was very competitive! "After meeting with a number of other contractors for our project, we decided to hire MD Construction. We hired MD Construction to replace the failing retaining wall in our driveway as well as installing steps to a paved pathway that leads to our yard. We met with Miguel (the owner of the MD Construction) and he is very knowledgeable with the process and materials involved. They gave us a great price and provided us with a copy of their insurance and NJ contractor’s license. When they started the work, we had very bad rainstorms the entire week, which made their job even harder. However, they were diligent and professional throughout the process and completed the project on time and within budget. The wall looks great and is an appealing improvement to the home. We will be using them again to replace our patio in our backyard."
