Customers say: True professional

"We hired Weinman Electric to install a number of new light fixtures in our home, including a large chandelier above our dining room table, and to also fix some issues we had with a bathroom shower light and kitchen light switches. Ken did a fantastic job. Everything that he installed looks perfect, and he fixed all the lighting issues we had as well. He is fair, pleasant, and his workmanship was top notch. I have other electrical work needing done this spring, including installing a ceiling fan, exterior electrical work, and some additional interior lighting, and I will definitely be using Weinman Electric moving forward as my electrician."

"Scheduling an appointment was easy and they were able to schedule me a date and time that was convenient for me. They also gave me an estimate on the cost and even tried to give me suggestions on performing the services myself so I didn't have to pay someone else to do it. On the day of the service to be performed they had called a half hour before to confirm my appointment and a heads up. Both Brian and Von were very professional and courteous. They had put on masks before entering my house and even asked if we wanted them to keep their shoes on or have them taken off. They described what they had to do to get my nest thermostat to work and kept me updated throughout the duration of the service. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure the thermostat, furnace, and air conditioner were working properly before leaving. I would definitely recommend Awesome Electric and will be using them in the future if I need to. Moreover, The price I paid and the effort saved from doing it myself I thought was very reasonable."

Customers say: Quick response

"We hired Anthony to perform a bathroom and basement remodel. I can't say enough about how pleased we are in every aspect of Anthony and Mark's work, cost and professionalism. The communication and reliability was always timely, thorough and just excellent, which are things that lack in a lot of contractors we have dealt with in the past. Although we had many challenges during the job, Anthony handled them all with flexibility. It was a true collaboration from beginning to end. Not only was he easy to deal with, but the work was done way above our expectations with a focus on attention to detail. He also made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of every day, even if I said not to worry about it. Overall, these guys went the extra mile and made a difficult job enjoyable for us. We will be coming back to A&J for any plumbing or remodeling needs in the future."

"Nate was available within the next day of contacting him to give a reasonable quote, was accommodating in doing his best to do the remodel to our standards and gave many choices for fixtures, sink top and shower. All of his workers kept us informed of what they were doing. Would highly recommend. I love my new bathroom!"

"Because a storm brought down a giant tree that pulled down our power line, we needed service from Duquesne Light, but we also needed the immediate help and advice of an electrician. Renaissance Electric, in the person of Eric, responded immediately to my phone message (which was before regular office hours) and stayed in text contact with advice throughout the day until things were resolved. Enormously helpful!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Allison Park, PA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
