"My upstairs unit was working, but not able to keep up with the warmer temperatures in late afternoon, despite being only 2 years old (new construction). I called and spoke with Kathleen, who was courteous and polite and scheduled a tech that morning. Our technician was Ronnie. He was efficient, methodical, pleasant, and patient. He systematically worked through his process and diagnosed a faulty expansion valve. It had to be ordered, and while the part was covered by warranty, the labor wasn't, and neither was the new refrigerant that had to be put in. He wrote everything up to give to us in case we wanted to get the home builder to remedy the problem. We decided we didn't want to wait, so gave him the go ahead. He got the part ordered and schedule the repair for us 2 days later. Daniel was our installer for the new parts. He was also very professional, efficient, and courteous. He got done in less time than our first tech estimated, and the A/C is running again like new. Also, I should point out that this review was written during the stay-at-home for COVID-19, and both techs wore masks, gloves, and footwear without being asked, which is great. As someone with a new house, naturally, it's a bummer having to pay nearly $700 for a new Carrier unit that is under warranty (which is not the fault of the service company. Despite that, I found this to be a very positive experience with Cornerstone, and will use them in the future without hesitation, and would recommend them for sure. "I just want to thank Bryan and his team of workers for the great work they did. My current kitchen was more than likely the original cabinets and countertops from when my place was built in 1984. After the MDF frames and laminate countertops started to really show there age I decided I needed to remodel my kitchen. I was looking to gut my kitchen; removing the drop ceiling, removing all the cabinets, opening up some walls, relocating the water supply for the refrigerator to another wall and updating the wet bar area with the same cabinets and granite as the kitchen. I asked five different contractors for a quote and only three responded. The three quotes ranged from $19K-$35K which caused me to try and quote out the job with Lowes/HD doing the cabinets and a handy man doing the demo and some of the final touches. After receiving their quotes back I realized Bryan’s quote was right on the money and slightly higher than a handyman/big box store for the cabinets and I felt it was a safer choice having Bryan, do all the work. His quote included all plywood cabinets where the rest were all MDF bases and while his cabinet supplier had fewer options to choose from than the big box stores, I was able to find one that suited my taste. I am truly grateful I chose Bryan and his team. The project took slightly under 5 weeks to complete and Bryan was very helpful every step of the way. His team cleaned up after themselves and allowed me to feel I was not living in an active construction zone during the remodel. Every day I could see significant progress and when the team ran into some issue opening one of the walls up due to AC lines Bryan was quick to give me a call and we came up with a solution that didn’t slow his guys down nor the project. The project went smoothly from start to end and in the end I am very pleased with the final product. It was a great help to rely on Bryan and his teams experience."
