"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. "I wish I had hired Custom Copper Works to do my copper bay window roof. They did a beautiful job on a neighbor's copper roof, but I had already contracted with the company who did my gutters and downspouts to also do my copper roof after a hailstorm. The work was terrible. There really aren't any copper roof companies on Angie's List, so I want to be sure that Custom Copper Works gets on the list to help other homeowners who are looking for a copper roofer. I learned the hard way that just because a company is highly rated on Angie's List for general roofing, that does not mean they know what they are doing with copper! After the horrible job on my roof, I called Custom Copper Works to get some information about copper and to see what my options would be to have it totally redone. The owner was SO helpful, answered all of my questions, even though he knew I would need to deal with the other company first to try to make it right. The other company is trying to fix it, but they simply don't have the expertise. I wish I had knocked on my neighbor's door to get the name of their company BEFORE I had my work done! Don't hesitate to hire Custom Copper Works. I'm sure they would give you addresses to drive by to see what beautiful work they've done. <br />"
