"The process was very slow, from my July 10th deposit  initiating the contract, to the installation on October 22. <br /> But, if you can wait, you will be pleased with the results. <br /> The craftsman resonsible for my project did a superb job of layout & design. More than a simple straight railing; it was one piece that needed to incorporate landings as well as a curved section. While the railing was a simple one rail design; architectual interest was created by vine embellishments on the posts. <br /> The railing is of heavy stock, with quality fit & finish, and should last many years. Beyond appearance, the railing is functionally placed & quite sturdy. <br />"

"Jason spent a couple of hours getting the steps lined up correctly, with even tread.  I had already bought 3 - 60-pound bags of cement (3 x $10) and had a wheelbarrow ready. He brought over the handrailings, which matched my existing railing, although he had never been to my house before. Although this could have been done DIY, I know the results wouldn't have been as even or strong. Post holes had to be dug and he carefully made sure the last two matched the first one. He used levels and obviously had a lot of experience. He propped it up into place and used clamps.  He was done in a few hours and had to leave.  I waited until the end of the day, then spray painted it with white engine paint.  It looked very nice and is strong!"

"I was looking for a handyman. After dealing with a few incompetent guys, I came across Karl Poruben Jr. on Angie’s List. He had great reviews. I called him and discussed how I was looking to install gutter guards at my residence. He was familiar with the product. Next day, he visited the property to see what kind of ladders, tools etc. is needed for the job. We agreed upon a price. As promised, he showed my doorstep bright and early on Monday. It took him a few hours to complete the job. Job was completed with utmost satisfaction. He’s already coming back to work on different projects. Also, I am in the process of sharing his info with others so they can hire him as well. Don’t waste your time by calling others and give this guy a chance, you will not be disappointed."
