"They showed up on time, did great work and were a competitive bid. I liked their solution to the problem with using conduit down low on the outside of the house versus going up into the attic and then coming down the side of the house. I would definitely hire them again if I need more work done."

"Copper pine electric came in and removed two ceiling fans in our old 1950s kitchen then installed 12 4inch recessed cans and a dining chandelier. Kody was awesome and great to work with. Will definitely use him again for any upcoming projects. "

"I tried to hire Yes, because I had a good experience once before, but when the technician got to my home, he looked at my light and immediately said he couldn't fix it, then charged me $45 for a service call."

"I had a great experience working with this company. From start to finish, their service was professional, efficient, and reliable. They responded quickly, showed up on time, and completed the work in a very organized and timely manner. The quality of their work was excellent, and they clearly know what they’re doing. Everything was done safely and cleanly, with attention to detail. On top of that, their pricing was very fair and reasonable for the level of service provided. It’s not always easy to find skilled trades who combine great service, efficiency, and good pricing, but they delivered on all three. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again for future projects."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in American Fork, UT

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
