"Our ducts are all metal, fabricated for the house in 1950 with no insulation.  Several weeks before we were to have our heating/air system replaced I tried to determine if the ducts needed cleaning.  I used our house vac and extended the hose through a return register in one room for several feet.  The nozzle of the hose stopped up and I pulled the hose out.  The suction was holding a 15" long mass of accumulated dust/animal fur etc. in the hose end.  When Wooldridge H&A came to take out the old furnace, the Duct Duster crew arrived there at the same time.  By the time the Furnace guys had removed the furnace the DD guys had all of the registers off and equipment for cleaning the ducts in place.  I told them about my adventure vacuuming the wad of stuff out, they were not surprised.  They showed me that the ducts had never been opened for cleaning, as far as they could determine.  They explained thoroughly all of their  process before beginning.    I did not clock the amount of time they were here, but it was at least 3 hours.  Neat and professional.  <br />"

"The services performed by Mills Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. turned out really well. It was a good experience. He's a very nice and polite man. He should have caught that we needed freon because we had to call him back and he couldn't come back for a couple of days or so. We were having trouble with the air conditioning and it was hot. But he was fine and we would use him again. The guy who came was young. Maybe if an older man that's been there for 30 years probably would have caught that right away."
