I'm 23 years old, I have a daughter, my parents are ex-military so they were very strict about the definition of cleanliness, I have cleaned people's homes from where it looked like there was no hope of entering with a never ending stench all the way back to a beautiful smelling home that's presentable to anyone. Every time I clean someone's home they always compliment my services and always seem shocked at how amazing I do and I can accommodate to each and every household based off of what each household does and doesn't allow in their homes. For instance if a service requires that they don't want me to use any harsh chemical cleaners in their home (for instance bleach) I can obtain plant based alternative cleaners for that specific job. I'm also told I have a very open and warming personality and approach but I can't prove that unless I'm hired for the job. But I would love to help clean your home or even fully renew it together. "We had not done air duct or dryer vent cleaning for more than 9 years in our home and we decided to get this done during the yearend break. Unique Air Duct cleaning was one of the companies listed on Angie's list that did not have any bad reviews and was closer to us. I called them on Monday and scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. The price quoted was very reasonable and was lower than one of my friends had to pay to another company the week before to get their air ducts cleaned in a similar house to ours. <br /> <br /> Ken F and his colleague from Unique Air Duct showed up on Friday, RIGHT ON TIME as scheduled. They were very professional and friendly and clearly explained the process to us. They setup the equipment, one in the basement and one in their truck (blowers and vacuum cleaners I think) and got to work right away. Every air vent and returns was carefully removed and the ducts were cleaned using a special air blower sent in to the ducts. Once the cleaning was done, they put all the vents back in carefully and cleaned the surrounding areas with a hand vacuum cleaner. Ken and his assistant was one of the best contractors ( and tidiest in their work I would say) we have ever hired to do work in our house. They did such a professional job with the air duct cleaning, we decided to get their services to clean the Dryer Vent for a small addition on the same day. There were no hidden costs and they charged for the work as quoted, nothing more. Overall, we had a excellent service and a great experience getting help from Unique Air Duct cleaning. I would definitely use their services again. In fact, we found out that they offered carpet cleaning services and we scheduled an appointment to get our carpets cleaned as well. We have already recommended them to one of our friends looking to clean the air ducts in his home. My telephone contacts to schedule the work were courteous and helpful; I was called the day before to confirm and called the morning of the work with an updated arrival time. The service technician, Brandon, was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Upon arrival he explained the work he was going to perform in language I could understand. This is the first house I've owned or lived in with a forced air furnace; always lived with a boiler and radiators. "With the growing concern of dryer vent fires, I felt it was a neccessity. We have an extra long dryer vent run with a booster fan so I felt a professional service was the way to go. Also the dust through out the house seemed to be more present than I thought it should be and we were having sinus issues.They were prompt, very polite and careful not to track any dirt inside. The only complaint I have after they left was that all the dryer lint,which was plenty, had been blown straight out onto my yard. I didn't realize it until my dog had been tracking it in. Also one of the cold air returns looked pretty dirty as if they forgot to clean that one. I didn't call them on it since I didn't catch it right away and all and all they did a good job and gave me much peace of mind. I've had a lot of bad experiences with other service providers that had fully intended to rip me off but VentCorp was not like that. I felt very comfortable having them in our house.
