"We hired The Care of Trees to do two things: 1) treat infested Tulip Poplar trees in the back yard and 2) shore up an aging Redbud tree in the front yard by installing cabling. I was supposed to be contacted by two people - one for the Poplars and another for the Redbud - to schedule the work. The results were good and bad. First, the good: I was contacted by the technician for the more expensive work in the back yard. He arrived on time and worked very efficiently. We have several tall Tulip Poplars in our back yard that were infested with scale and other pests. That infestation caused a sticky substance that was dripping so badly on our deck that it was unusable. The Care of Trees treated the tree trunks and within two weeks the problem was completely gone. Second, the bad: Even though our proposal from The Care of Trees included them addressing an aging Redbud in the front yard (much less expensive work than the work on the Tulip Poplars in the back yard), they blew off the lower-cost work. After I paid the larger bill for the back yard work, we never heard back from them to complete the work they said they would do in the front yard. It's a shame. They did such great work in the back we were looking forward to them completing the work in the front. I graded them a "C" only because they never completed the work. Otherwise, I would have graded them much higher."
