"We chose Garcia Roofing because we wanted a highly reputable, local, Louisiana licensed and insured roofing company. We had a GAF HD shingle roof installed previously, that was approximately 8 years old. Hurricane Ida winds were (my estimate as we were in our home during the storm) 130mph sustained for 6-8 hours. We considered both shingle and the standing seam metal roof for our roof replacement. We chose the standing seam metal roof as the most cost effective long term solution. Garcia Roofing installed a 26 gauge standing seam metal roof for us. We’re very pleased with our new roof. It’s beautiful and very well installed. We chose the medium bronze color. The installation crew did a superior job. We had to replace 36 CDX plywood sheets to fix the damaged roof deck. Additionally, we had facia/soffit repairs included. "Ruben and his staff are very professional. They accommodated a couple of necessary site-visit appointments at my house and promptly rescheduled. Ruben was very helpful, explained the nature of the damage and provided a prompt estimate for repair. Upon selecting a roof color and providing downpayment, RBJ had all the materials delivered and stacked neatly on my driveway in preparation for the job, and scheduled within a week for the job to commence when weather allowed. The crew was very professional, worked diligently, set tarps for debris collection, and had the entire area around the house thoroughly cleaned after the job was complete…. didn’t even find one nail remaining on the ground afterwards! "Repairs to my Mother's roof were good, survived a 4 inch rain fall in two hours. The work on the workshop went very well. It started to rain about an hour before completion of the job but the guys kept on working and finished. The temperature had dropped a lot but they kept right on until the job was done. In the dark and rain they cleaned up the site very well."

"I initially met with Jarrod Hewitt to discuss cost options and replacement colors on our home.  Jarrod showed up on time, was courteous and professional about the work.  He measured the diameters of the roof and showed my wife and I color options.  This included explaining the difference in shingle types, manufacturers and warranties associated with them. <br /> After we mutually agreed on the cost, Jarrod provided me with a timeline of scheduled work.  This included tear off, new installation, and hauling off any debris.  The job was completed exactly as we planned it.  The crew showed up as promised and the work was completed three days later.  The third day was mostly cleaning up and picking up nails, etc. <br /> After the job was complete, I complimented the foreman Edgar on a superb job.  Then on Friday 12/4, I traveled to Hewitt's Roofing Inc. office located in Ferriday, LA to take care of the payment for work completed.  Cynthia and the office staff were professional and easy to work with.  The invoice and warranty information was explained and I thanked them also for helping with the project. <br /> I would recommend Hewitt's Roofing to anyone who is in need of a new roof.  <br /> Thanks <br /> Jimmy <br />"

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"On the Monday before Mardi Gras those strong winds finally began to pull off the roof of the garage.  It was covered by insurance thankfully so I only had to pay my deductible.  Called and spoke to Leonard Wells and he came out measured and did the estimate.  Less than a week later they came out and in a couple of hours tore off the old roof, replaced wood that was needed and put on a nice new roof.  About a year ago these folks also did the roof on my home .  Definitely recommend these folks to anyone who can use the services they provide.  I myself intend to call them in the fall to do siding on my home/  They are professional and  do a wonderful job both with the construction and the clean up.  They made sure there were no nails left behind in the yard or driveway."

"Veteran garage door tech. “Rodger” showed up at exactly the appointed time. Introduced himself and went right to work, discussing with me what he’d be doing to correct the damage (I caused to my garage door panels, tracks and cables of my cable door drums. I purchased and attempted to install a set of new springs myself.)….Note to homeowners….I’m a pretty experienced mechanical tech myself; performing most of my own home & minor auto repairs over many decades. My complete inexperience with garage door systems could have gotten me seriously injured as I did not realize the potential energy I was placing in winding up the EXTREMELY OVERRATED torsion bar springs I INCORRECTLY purchased on line!!) So after receiving that well-meaning, much-deserved “critique,” Rodger successfully straightened out and realigned most all my damage without having to replace a lot of my “bent-up” components. He placed the PROPER-sized torsion bar springs, a very worn sprocket of my chain drive motor and adjusted the chain, etc. Most impressed by the expertise and speed in which he was able to do all that work (without a helper) in less than an hour-1/2 at most. Great experience; sincere folks (was told their company is a start-up since our area’s Hurricane Katrina of 2005.) Recommending their service to anyone (including do-it-yourselfers as myself).
