"The stove hood replacement went very well.  The workmanship was outstanding, hood performs well and the flue looks very nice.  Workman cleaned up after the job. <br /> The dryer vent replacement was a little disappointing. The tech seemed a little overmatched by the task. His first attempt left the driver sticking out six inches farther than allowable. At my suggestion, he reworked the install and we could then move the dryer out and back in.  However, when he left, I pulled the dryer out to discover the drywall mess was still behind the dryer. When I pulled it out a little farther to vacuum the mess, the dryer vent elbow pulled off the back of the dryer as it was only held by aluminum duct tape.  I called the technician right away and fortunately he was still nearby.  He came back and was very apologetic and more securely fastened the vent elbow to the back of the dryer.  Now we can move the dryer in and out reasonably well.  On a positive note, I will say that the technician was thorough checked to make sure the dryer was moving air properly through the roof vent.  It was not.  He went into the attic and discovered that the vent pipe had come loose in the attic. That could have been a very bad thing had he not checked that out. <br /> Overall, the workmen were punctual, courteous and clean.  I know the dryer guy just forgot and those things happen. <br /> As far as using them again, I have to be honest.  It depends on who they send.  And not knowing that makes me hesitate to bring them back. <br />"

"Prior to contracting with Doerrfeld Solutions, we asked for three estimates for the work to be done.  We have twelve units in our association, and all needed to be power washed and stained. Jon of Doerrfeld solutions not only came back with the lowest estimate, he was the only person to notice that some of the units needed to have wood replaced and/or to have screen doors repaired. As we did the initial walk through of the units, I (the secretary of the association and the person in charge of getting the job done) asked him to include the repairs in his estimate.  So, not only was the estimate lower, but it also included repairs that the other two did not. <br /> The work was done professionally.  Jon was great at responding when I sent him an email or called to touch base and get additional information. When the crew was working, they worked hard and were always polite to all homeowners. <br /> I would absolutely hire Doerrfeld solutions for any of my paint/stain needs in the future. <br />"

"Gary came out and took a look about three weeks before we were ready for the work. He gave us all the information necessary to order our doors and the necessary hardware recommended.  Once the doors arrived, he scheduled to come out within the week to do the job.  The old storm door was not operating properly due to some issues with how tight the opening was. Gary opened this up and framed in the new door so it would operate properly for years to come. Job started at about 8:45 and was finished at about 3:00.  I will definitely recommend and use CREW again in the future. <br />"
