"Permian Basin Exteriors is an excellent company to do business with. Their knowledge helps the customer to make wise decisions and they are very personable. Permian Basin Exteriors uses their time wisely and gets on the job quickly and is just as quick to finish a job, large or small. Their prices were reasonable and they did everything that was asked of them and more. I wish everyone that ran a business was as easy to deal with as Permian Basin Exteriors and Isaac Redecop and his son. They put a metal roof on for us and will return later to install new windows. They started promptly, did the job, cleaned up and were gone. Thanks to Permian Basin Exteriors."

"They tried to repair the oven, but the parts were no longer available, so they had to purchase a new oven and install it. They purchased it because it was under home warranty. One of the reasons we keep renewing the policy is they're so good and so prompt and knowledgeable. I don't see any reason to go anywhere else. They were prompt and courteous and knowledgeable."

"We've used Complete Lawn Services for years.  They make appointments...they show up!   They call ahead for days of service and are on time!!   Prices are competitive and very fair.  The work is done quickly and at the cost estimated.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  They are excellent in every way.  Once they recommended someone who could do a particular service  cheaper...it was a service they could perform, but since they didn't do it often, another company could do it cheaper...Wow!  They are the first ones I call! <br />"

"Outstanding work! Donald Butterworth, the working, hands-on CEO of this company is an excellent communicator. Prepares a detailed estimate so you know exactly what will be done. Stays in touch with clients with daily progress reports. He prides himself on being at the job site daily. Employs superb equipment operators (Julio and Clay) who are also very personable. This was a particularly challenging job due to the 50 foot drop from the top of the drive to the valley below. He knew exactly how to approach it. Another challenge was the weather. It rained heavily for several days, so work was halted. Still, he completed the project on time and on budget. I highly recommend this company for any driveway project."

"I can't say enough about Jeff and all the folks at Scherz! We purchased a new home on 1 acre of land with no landscaping. Jeff was extremely patient with us during design, install and aftercare of all three of the projects they did for us.We have had questions and issues with our irrigation system and Jeff has responded promptly and fixed the minor issues we were having. <br /> Crews that performed the work were professional, courteous and always cleaned up after themselves. <br /> Scherz also has their own blend of lawn and plant fertilizer that is fantastic. We would highly recommend Scherz!!!!"

"First visit, 5/30/13, middle aerobic tank lid collapsed; 2nd visit, 7/17/13, installed new septic lid casting; located missing sprinkler system zone valve box, repairs valve; will return to set riser (missing) and backfill tank; 3rd visit, 8/22: backfilled middle tank, brought wrong riser; repositioned aerobic air pump to eliminate noisy banging on house underpinning; sometime in late October, repair was completed.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />| <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />|I am happy with the careful way the owner worked with me to determine a low-cost way to address my repair problem, with the quality of the work that was done, and with the extra sprinkler system work that was done at no extra charge.  Although there was a remarkable set of delays in completion, the septic system was operable the entire time, and the cost savings made the trade off well worthwhile.  I will call SLI Systems again when I need sprinkler or septic repairs."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Andrews, TX

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
