I just asked him to cut the tree into manageable sections and leave it for me so that I could re-purpose the wood. He did exactly what I asked for and was communicative throughout the process from estimate to performing the work. Would definitely use this company again."

"We had Hometown Tree Experts remove two large oak trees in our backyard and a large spruce tree from our front yard. We had multiple quotes, and they were the least expensive (by thousands of dollars for most of the other quotes we had). Not only that, their office staff were the most friendly of any tree company I've worked with. Two of the companies that gave us quotes told us they would need to bring a crane in, and Hometown did it without a crane and with incredible speed (they did the entire job in under 6 hours). Not only that, they managed to take down the massive oak trees while not damaging the trampoline, play structure, and garden, all of which were very close by. "I contacted Ballard to have some trees removed. They responded quickly and showed up on time for the estimate. Their price was more than fair for the amount of work -- they removed two large poplar trees and two large holly trees, and ground out the stumps. The work was scheduled quickly. "I contacted five tree removal services for estimates. Richard's Tree Care was the only one who has yet to provide me with an estimate. I do not know what the problem is. I initially attempted to establish an appointment by using the online form on their website. After three or four days of not hearing from them, I decided to contact them by telephone. I did get hold of someone and set up an appointment. The guy came out. Took my list of what was to be done. We went around the yard discussing each tree. At the end, he said he would email me the estimate. I asked if he had my email address. He assured me that the office had it and my telephone number. I waited five days; emailed the office, and still have not heard from them. But, I had to move on. I believe that I gave them ample time to respond, but they chose not to or their communication system is not operating properly. Don't know. Don't care at this point."

"So Ted and his guys came out the next 2 days (Thursday & Friday) and performed all work to my satisfaction; cut them into logs so I can split later for my wood stove; and they thoroughly cleaned up site (only logs and saw dust left over on ground).  There were also some dead branches in a nearby tree close to the one by garage and he trimmed at no additional charge.

Everything was done in a professional manner and more than I expected.

My next door neighbor was interested and I told him what was being done.  So as a result he had Abba Chief T.S. cut 2 dying trees as well.

My wife and I are very happy with Abba Chief Tree Services and would highly recommend them to anyone needing such services.  You will not be disappointed.  Ted and his wife are very nice people to deal with.

I will be using Abba Chief T.S. again before this coming winter to cut/trim trees branches that are hanging over our house.
