"The only way to safely bring down this tree was to limb it down carefully while using a bucket truck in the driveway as the only means to get at the tree properly.  Additionally, care needed to be taken with removing the one trunk from directly over top the expensive light fixture on the lamp post, and in addition, avoiding damage to the garage dormer.
I had observed Ballard Enterprises in my neighborhood before and I knew they had the proper equipment and training to bring this tree down safely.
I was informed at the time of signing of the contract that the team was about two weeks out on their current schedule, weather depending. This was fine with me as I wasn't in any particular hurry as long as I got the tree down before winter storms. 
Roughly right at the two week mark, Tim called me the night before the work to let me know the crew was coming the next morning at 8:00 AM.  The crew showed up ahead of time in the morning the next day and promptly got to work.  The crew leader deftly manuevered the bucket truck around the trunks of the River Birch, quickly delimbing and guiding the limbs by rope to the ground by using a spin block attached to a high spot on a separate trunk.  The ground crew would gently lower the limbs down to the ground and piled them neatly in the driveway.  With only trunks of the tree left, the crew leader carefully removed sections of trunk, tying the sections off with rope. The ground crew waited until each section of the trunks were cut free and hanging clear before lowering them to the ground.  Once the tree was down, the crew used a claw machine to grasp all of the downed limbs and drag the limbs down the driveway to the road where the limbs were disposed of in the shredder attached to a truck.  The trunk sections were loaded onto a truck as well and all local debris was raked up and disposed of.  By the way, not one trunk, limb, or twig touched either the expensive light fixture on the lamp post, or the garage dormer.  To this I credit Tim's crew and the expert way they go about their business.  Having a crew with all the correct training and equipment is essential and Ballard Enterprises has that, and they are professional and safety conscious.  The stump grinding occurred about a week later, early on a Saturday morning one of Tim's crew showed up with a truck and the stump grinder in tow.  This person made quick work of the stump and was gone in probably about 30 to 45 minutes.
I can't say enough about the excellent Tree Service work that Ballard Enterprises performs, and I will definitely use them again.

"I hired this company because I am having a retaining wall replaced and installed, as well as, a deck replaced and a new enlarged deck installed. Land Art Design was the most thorough when submitting the proposal and will be providing much more for the same price I had proposed by two other companies. In order for them to submit for a permit, I provided them the only site survey I had which was a very basic outline of the property provided a few years ago by a Surveyor.
