"Good job and good, hard-working crew. Needed a lot of trim replaced around the house plus a little bit of siding. The big part of the job was replacing heavy, dry-rotted beams above the entrance to the house. While on the roof replacing trim around the chimney, they found serious dry rot and had to do additional work beyond the work order, which we'd previously agreed would be for an hourly fee. Separate, simultaneous job: Over 30-some years, the house had settled and the side door in the garage no longer fit right. They took out the door, demo'd the frame and rebuilt it, installed new door."

"Local Professionals come through: I had a water flow problem on the front center part of my roof that resulted in some of the sheathing under the overhang to dry rot. I also had a rain gutter with damage caused by a leaning tree. I called Roofmasters for a free quote. Johnathon explained the process and answered all my questions. Aaron arrived on-time for the quote on 8/27/2018. He explained what caused the dry rot and answered my questions regarding concerns I had about other areas of my roof. He put my mind at rest – telling me that my roof appeared to be in good shape except for the area that brought him there that day. I received the written quote on 8/31/2018 for the roof and gutter repairs and scheduled the work to be done on 9/14/2018. They called 30 minutes before arrival as promised. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves well. They even replaced a couple cracked tiles at no additional charge. They are a local company (Suisun City, CA) that obviously still takes pride in their work. This seems to be a trait that is in short supply these days. "We contacted Straightline Construction to replace our house’s skylight that had a large crack in it (previously plastic). Phil, the Project Manager, was extremely professional and measured our skylight for replacement. He provided us with multiple options, from a standard glass replacement to skylights with shades (manual or solar). We decided on the skylight with a solar shade. Straightline made the process extremely easy. We absolutely loved how it turned out, very high quality. The two person installation team did a great job and even installed the remote to open and close the shade in our kitchen. While installing the skylight they also sealed exposed nails and painted and resealed flashings. I highly recommend Straightline for your roofing needs. (I forgot to take before pictures of the inside of the old skylight. You could hardly see out of it and there was a large crack. Now we see clearly out of it.)"

"AVOID AT ALL COST. Contractor promises to complete a ton of work to justify his cost of thousands of dollars. Then sends a crew of a few guys to do some minimal work and hope that the homeowner does not climb the roof to check their work. Roof continued to leak after their "repairs". Owner then sent the crew out 2 more times - with no ladder and absolutely no pride in the quality of their work. Review the pictures and be the judge. My 6-year old can do better work. Tried to speak to the owner who has a short fuse and would not even hear-out the concerns. I will be filing a complaint with the contractors state license board and taking him to court but wanted to warn others."

"Returning Customer... never coming back! It is unfortunate that we have to give such a low rating. If we could give zero, we would. We were returning customers, having used Cal-Vintage a few years ago for simple tile maintenance. Should have learned our lesson then; as it took almost a year for them to complete replacement of the few tiles - stating how difficult the tile was to locate. This time, the estimator missed wood rot, which their repair team identified right away. Given the team was scheduled to be on site for three days (approx there 4 hrs each day) , we assumed the wood rot issue would be taken care of. Nope... we received a bill on the 5th day, stating our project was complete. When we asked for and was promised an estimate to complete the work, that estimate (5 business days now) has not arrived nor have we received any sort of call sharing status of our ask. We did receive a very defensive email regarding our concern, assuming we were asking for free service "
