"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."

Most companies if dealt with would text or call a day later, Rob would call a few minutes later which was nice to actually hear a voice on the phone. Work was done on time and the company was very professional. Left a bunch of tools on the job and was skeptical of leaving them out but everything was untouched. "Was the second time we've used Chicagoland Precison painting's services. As with the previous time, the estimate was fair and based on the first job, we had no problem in hiring them again. One bedroom and a hallway were pretty standard and look good with fresh coats of paint.. The second bedroom had a plaster wall that was in really rough shape; huge, deep cracks and old crusted paint. Jason worked some magic on the wall and it looks fantastic.

The job went a couple hours over on an extra evening due to the skim coat not completely drying in the expected time. No cutting corners to move on to the next job; Jason came back in the evening the next day that he could, ensuring that it had dried and was sanded properly. Further attesting to detail, in the process of fixing that wall, he decided that he'd have to paint the ceiling as well otherwise the room wouldn't look good. This was not in the original quote and he painted it free of labor charge.

"Chris, the owner, came out to give me an estimate before the work. He was on time, very professional, and knowledgeable about the work. He provided a written estimate for the work to be performed, and his estimate was on the high side of the 4 estimates I received. He was also able to give me an approximate amount for additional wood repair or replacement which I wanted done at the same time. Although I did not negotiate much with him on price because of his excellent reviews and the fact that although his price was the highest, it was still in the ballpark of the other estimates, and Chris was willing to match other service, warranty or additional work offered by the other service providers I received estimates from. The project went well. One to three men showed up on time over a few day period to power wash, scrape, repair or replace wood and prep for the job. They were all polite and professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. Chris was always available by phone or if requested in person to answer any questions. Chris worked with us in picking out the colors, and he is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the painting trade. A few extra items were required to be repaired which were discovered during progress of the job, and which was again handled in stride by Chris' team. The actual painting was again done on time and professionally. 2 to 4 men worked each day until the job was completed. Again the team was polite and professional. The job came out beautiful. I reviewed and inspected at the end of the job for any missed items or other issues and they were all addressed immediately. The final amount paid was as originally agreed to. You can trust this company to do professional work including in affluent areas where the level of service is expected to be done to a high standard. I have been in this house for 15 years and have had it painted every 5 years. This was by far the best job done compared with any of my past painters. I cannot give enough praise or say enough positive things about Chris and CQ painting. I also trust, based on his responsiveness and professionalism, that he will as stated, stand behind his work 100% if necessary. You cannot go wrong with this guy or his company and I will definitely use CQ Painting again."

"We received the quote on 10/13/2014, but we're unable to start the work until 1/23/2015 due to our work and travel schedule. Huber still honored our quote from 3 months prior. He started on a Friday with one other crew member and carefully taped up plastic barriers to prevent the construction dust from spreading. My husband and I were extremely impressed with how much they accomplished on the first day. They laid the first coat of mudding and sanded the master bedroom and bath, they repaired the drywall in the dining and living room including other minor repairs that were not included in the quote without asking for more money. They also removed all the textured drywall from the family room ceiling. The second one day they installed the new drywall in the family room ceiling, including taping and mudding. They also fixed drywall taping in the kitChen ceiling without bumping up the quote. They were prompt each day until the repairs were complete. They were professional and respectful of our home and the quality of work was excellent. Should we have any other repairs, we would not hesitate to use them again!
