He described the different options, explained the benefits of each, and was knowledgeable about best practices about roof installation, ventilation, and energy efficiency. He submitted 3 proposals for different options within a week. After our selection and down payment, Edgar, the project manager contacted us and told us when the project would start. The install crew deserve a special shout-out - these guys installed our metal roof on the hottest week in July. They were diligent and showed up early to the job site. "This is the second time we hired J & B Roofing to work on our house. We had 35 year old deteriorated Masonite lap siding. The old siding was removed, a layer of insulation was installed, along with Tyvek House Wrap under the new siding. J & B Roofing supplied many color samples for us to select from. Our house has brick on the lower 1/3 of the front. We had J & B Roofing install vinyl siding that has the appearance of hand split shakes above the bricks to the soffit. We installed vinyl dutch lap siding on the sides and back of the house. The gable ends of the house & garage had the dutch lap installed at the same angle as the roof line. Ever challenge we presented to J & B Roofing was met with the response, "WE CAN DO IT". When the job was completed, once again the entire area was cleaned up of all debris. Whenever we need any repairs, they will be our first call to see if what we need done, they are able to do. We are very satisfied with them and highly recommend their services."

"Contacted Twin City Handyman to do a number of jobs around the house. Darren promptly came out, reviewed the work to be done and issued a quote on the project. Within a couple of weeks Trevor arrived to do the project. The wall patch, shower door install and grab bar install went well. The pocket door install was another story. There are few companies out there who can do pocket doors, so I knew I was taking a chance by employing a handyman service to do the job. First, the cost of the door install was $2365.00, the bulk of which was for labor. When the install was done, the door was out of alignment in every possible way. The door does close, so it is useable. On their behalf, Twin City Handyman has tried to make the correction to the door, but without much success. A complete reinstall is probably the only answer to the problem, but I will have to find someone else at a later date. In closing, Darren and Trevor are very professional and truly do want to do the best job possible. I just believe, they should have turned down the pocket door install, as they had little experience in that area."

"This is a follow up from work done 2 years ago. Roof/gutters still great and siding ok. However the metal that was installed over the soffit in several areas is pulling away and one piece blew off in the wind. After looking close at several areas on a tall ladder I found many nails not pounded into the wood soffit hence the reason many areas were pulling away. Walker did come out and repair several areas recently after I called so that was good. Hopefully all else holds up for at least what should be the expected lifetime but I have my doubts at least on the soffits. Look closely at photos submitted to see what is happening."
