"Jose came to quote me a price and ask exactly what I wanted done. We walked the property and I explained what I wanted done and was given an excellent quote. We then spoke about snow removal for the winter and again I was given an excellent quote. I hired Artscapes and LawnMaintenance for the rest of the lawn season and throughout the winter. I will take it from there but completely feel they will be with me for many years to come. Jose is a very nice man and dealing with him was very easy. I like him very much!"

"<p>It was great. The installation team was awesome. They came in drew the template, then allowed me to pick out the exact slabs of granite to be used, how I wanted the pieces laid on the slab to avoid a color variation I didn't like. The team came in and installed the granite. They were on time, efficient, respectful and just nice hard working guys. <br /> We took advantage of the spring sale they had. There were questions with the quote and how it was calculated. I believe there was an error on the original quote. And when specifics were asked, the answers were sketchy at best. I am still not sure how the bill was calculated and how many square feet of granite was used or needed, but it was one of the best quotes we got. And since we could review the slabs prior to being cut, we </p> were happy. <br /> Overall, we would recommend Darboy Stone and Brick to others, and recommend looking over the remanent selection for great savings. <br />"

"They were 30 minutes early and got right to work. They appreciated our input on exactly what to cut and never hurried our decisions. They were very protective and careful of our property and home. All cut limbs and small trees were chipped using their own chipper. Cleaned up well afterward. Rather than calling them tree trimmers, it would be more accurate to say they were tree surgeons. In my opinion, they are the best of the best."

"Jeff Weiher began the work on schedule. The only delays were due to the special railing he had ordered for us and it was installed as soon as it arrived. After the stairs leading to our lower patio were roughed in, we decided we needed them to turn in another direction. Jeff was able to do that and added a landing to accommodate. We're happy with his suggestions for deck material and railing. Very nice looking."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Appleton, WI

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
