"Perfect!  Andy is a total pro from start to finish. He promptly returned phone call, came out and discussed work, took measurements, and talked to me at length about what I wanted.  NOT how he thought it should be, or what he wanted to do (C'mon, you know you've dealt with THOSE contractors!), but what I wanted!  He looked at all the pictures I'd pulled and asked questions, offered suggestions when I wasn't sure.  Quote was offered via email, date set for install soon after.  Bookshelves were mostly built in his own workshop, then brought to my home for install. They completed installation in a day and a half.  Finished product is SPECTACULAR!  Even better than I imagined.
I can't say enough good about this company. They were prompt, efficient, friendly and competent; things that are nearly impossible to find anymore.  A+++

"I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for $99.00 which was for only the walls of the room.  I decided to have the all of the other areas i.e. trim, doors, ceiling painted also and purchased the additional service from Protect and Preserve to be performed when the walls were painted.
Mr. Sperback and his team arrived at 8:00 am just as he said they would do.  He and his team were very courteous and professional.  Mr. Sperback confirmed the work that would be performed prior to beginning the job.
I am very happy with the result.  He and his team are very detail oriented.  Rather than taping around the door knob, they removed and reinstalled it after the door was painted.  The room was completely finished within about 4 hours.  They cleaned up everything prior to leaving so one would ever know anyone had been here to paint that day unless aware that I had it done then.
I am very pleased with the work Mr. Sperback and his team performed and am working with him to have other painting performed this summer.
I'd like to add that I had to reschedule the painting a couple of times.  Mr. Sperback was always understanding and willing to reschedule to another time.  I would highly recommend Paint and Preserve Painting to any one thinking of having any painting performed.

"Our front door had been damaged by an attempted break-in for years and was getting progressively worse. We were pretty much unable to open it some days last winter. The salesperson that came out was friendly and well-informed. He went through all of our options and we decided on both a new front door and a new sliding glass door to the patio. The front door had many options that we went through which included the style of the door, the inside and outside colors and the style of the windows on either side of the door. He provided us with a quote which we accepted and he gave us what turned out to be a very accurate timeframe of when the doors would be installed. As we waited for the doors to be installed, Bee Window kept us apprised of where we were in the process and we worked out a couple areas in which there were questions. Installation day was scheduled and the installers arrived on time. It took a few hours for both doors to be installed. Before leaving, the installer guided me through opening and locking both doors and answered any questions that I had. They did a great job cleaning up the mess, both inside and outside of the house. The only negative I had with the entire process is that I felt that the price was a bit high. But after having the doors, and especially the new front door, I am more satisfied with this purchase than any other home improvement purchase I have made over the past 20+ years. The door is fantastic -- it closes properly and keeps the sound out and has zero gaps and looks absolutely beautiful."

I purchased this Big Deal for 2 painters 8hrs each for $500. I contacted Mario the next day.  He was not able to do the job until  weeks out--due to his busy schedule.  I decided that I wanted the house power washed before it was painted ( that would be extra)--I also questioned him about caulking windows and other areas as needed--he told me that would be included in the purchased price.

I asked Mario to come out to my residence before the job started to give me estimate of how much paint I would need and estimate on the power wash.  Mario did come out as requested--I appreciated that as opposed to just showing up on the scheduled day. He said he would use 3 painters for 5.3hrs--"would go faster"  I was ok with that. If I had any questions or concerns I would call Mario and he returned my calls in a timely manner.

The day of  the job he called and informed me he would not be able to start due to the weather. The following day his crew showed up and power washed.  They showed up early the next day and painted.  The workers were professional, they did a great job--very neat. I asked one of the workers about grass I saw in the gutter--I offered to climb the ladder and remove the debris--but he was nice enough to do it for me--I really appreciated that.

I had to leave my house while they were painting--I arrived back at the end of the 5.3hrs.  Mario informed me that he had to send one of the workers home "was not feeling well."  I had to take his word that the worker was on the job for the allotted time. He said they were not able to finish the job in the 5.3 hrs so the price would be $300 ($200 for power wash).

Mario had to leave and left the one painter to finish the job--about 2hrs later.  We had a little disagreement about that $100. He became a little frustrated with me and said "just give me the $200."  In retrospect I will pay him the $100--because they did do a great job and cleaned out my gutter!.  I will probably not go for this type of deal again; I question --are you really getting 100% from each worker. But overall  Mario did a great job, he aims to please, a nice guy.
