He met me the next morning and had his crew there for weeks until the work was done to his standards and my satisfaction. ServiceMaster by Griffing focused on remediating the damage from the soot and recommended highly competent contractors for the additional needed work, including linen restoration, appliance restoration, electric, plumbing, insulation, and general contracting. Paul walked us through the entire insurance process and patiently navigated the challenges of dealing with my insurance company. "Mike was outstanding. We got off to a slow start because of weather but that can't be helped. This project was a little over a week long to complete and he called me on 4 separate occasions just to give me an update. I've hired many contractors and seldom do they call to give updates. Mike's experience and observation proved dead on;, he suspected water damage in 2-3 crucial areas and when he got down to the level there was definitely damage. At one point I had people coming in for the weekend, he cut work short on friday and came in late on monday to give the visitors an opportunity to do their thing without him being there and having people pack and unpack around his crew. In addition, he cleaned up before they arrived and cleaned up nicely when he was finished with the project. I've seen other reviews saying he's not quick in responding; to those claims I would STRONGLY suggest keep following up, he is busy but his work, ethics and professionalism are well worth the wait or extra effort needed to contact him."
